Is Jack the lad preparing for his Arsenal comeback sooner than we thought? I am only asking as
the wonder that is Wilshere seems to be in the mood to play again and we know this because he has a
new pair of boots made by Nike especially for his return from injury.
Our very own wonderkid, 20, has had the boot stitched with the name of his new son on it and
surely this can only mean he is ready to get back in action (Lord knows we desperately need him)
any time soon?
This game was so utterly predictable. The unpredictable part of it was that young
Oxlade-Chamberlain started and was arguably our best player, also that Nico Yennaris came on at
half time for the hapless Djourou, this also swung the game in our direction. These two good
managerial decisions were then more than negated when the Ox was take off and replaced by our lazy
fat Russian.
It's been a frustrating period for Jermain Defoe whereby he has spent most of his time on the
bench in recent weeks. Despite scoring some valuable goals when he has been on the pitch, the
striker is a firm third in the White Hart Lane pecking order behind Adebayor and VDV.
JD will surely get his chance this weekend however as Adebayor is forced to sit out the game
against his parent club and in his newspaper column, manager Harry Redknapp almost went overboard
in praising his ‘back up' striker.
So there is at last some good news on the injury front, Carl Jenkinson has had positive scan
results and is back in training, TV5 is not far off and may be back for Manu. Per looks unlikely
to beat his flu in time for Swansea, while Johan Djourou is back from suspension. It still means
that our back four this sunday will be rather ropey and may contain Squillaci, not good.
Today's post is written by Neil, a QPR supporter who we met up with before the game last
Saturday. These are his thoughts on the game and the Emirates experience.
I got the chance to visit the Emirates stadium as I have always wanted to, as iI had heard a lot
about it and it always looks great on TV.
You know what they are going to do. You don't like it and wouldn't play that way if it meant 80
points a season, but that's what they are going to throw at us and if we're not prepared, it's down
to us.
I don't like it but I'm not going to go on about it because then I'll end up like Arsene
Whinger, always complaining about injustices that his precious little angels have to face when they
play those awful big boys from up north.

Remember last week, when Cesc Fabregas finally buckled under growing international pressure
(from us, mainly) to cut his monstrous mop? Who was present at the scene? One Gerard Pique.

It's tough seeing my club embroiled in such poor results. Looking back:
- ManU 3-1
This one was an amazing game, Manchester edged it but there was so much to take away from our
performance that the season looked bright.
- QPR 1-0
The surprise.
Harry Redknapp is the quintessential English manager. Working class roots, played football since
he was a kid, steeped in the game, worked his way up in management from the lower leagues. Close to
his players, he preaches the virtues of hard work and character. He has prospered in the modern era
but his teams would look familiar to fans from any era of English football big men at the back,
tough tackling midfielders and wingers with another big bloke up front.

Javi Varas saved a stoppage time penalty from Leo Messi to highlight his brilliant performance
on the night, holding the defending champions to a scoreless draw at the Camp Nou.
It was a match of resilient defense, poor finishing and childish antics in the closing
minutes.
Spurs away and just like the old days. An inferior side produces their best because we let them
play. Shaky at the back, vulnerable to the simplest long ball. Can't keep hold of the ball or close
down our opponents. One difference, mind we won.
The familiar 4-4-2 created plenty of opportunities early on.

The King is Dead ( well, injured ) Long live the King!
The biggest shock in this week of premiership soccer was that Wayne Rooney (the aformentioned King)
didn't play due to a injury acquired from practice. And boy did that show. Of course everyone knew
that Stoke as a host wouldn't be giving anything for free, and in a way the Manchester United
players were lucky to get even the one pt that they got.
Man Utd played their first game without Rooney.Chicharito was taken off early on.
Nani produced another bit of brilliance to give Man Utd the lead late in the first half. However
seven mintues after half time Peter Crouch scored his first goal for Stoke and that's the way the
scoreline stayed till the final whistle.
victoria.

It was interesting to see the media's contrasting reactions to our excellent point away to the
German champions to Manu's draw against a Benfica. There is no doubt that Dortmund are a
considerably stronger side than Benfica, but the media did not paint things like this, same old I
say.The most encouraging thing was the way in which we defended well as a unit even when he came

Gameweek 5 gives us yet another batch of Fantasy Football excitement as ManU and Chelsea go against
each other in English Premier League. Before we get to that, though, let's see what went on in GW
4.
Fantasy Premier League once again showed us, that having player from a team that has a lot of great
players is not only a blessing but a curse for players of Premier league fantasy football.
Modric proving once and for all that his head is 'in the right place' (i.e. on his
shoulders).Project 2011/12 is finally underway. As Piers Morgan astutely pointed out on Twitter in
reference to his beloved Arsenal, 'the real season starts now'. Those embarrassing early few games
for both sides obviously don't count (erm, except that they do!
Every year around this time, we warn you that turmoil is ahead in the rankings. That is because
when domestic leagues complete five full matchdays (where everybody plays), all of the prior
season's numbers are purged from the database. Of the top five domestic leagues in the world, the
first two to reach this point in the season, Germany and France, had it happen to them this week.
Pep Guardiola was all smiles yesterday as the Catalan Parliament awarded him the Gold Medal,
Catalunya's highest accolade, for being an excellent representative of Catalan values in the
sporting world. There were words of praise and admiration, which almost brought Pep to tears at one
point.
Paul Gardner writes about the trials and tribulations of Arsene Wenger.
Is it OK to feel sorry for Arsene Wenger? That 8-2 rout by ManU was a humiliation that he
surely did not deserve, a sad, sad moment in the history of Arsenal, a cruel game that I found it
almost agonizing to watch.
Wow, what a gameweek! Don't you just love soccer! My comment from last week about this season being
evenly matched jumped out of the window. Both teams from Manchester dominated their opponents, and
showed just how you play football. And how about that Dzeko! Not to mention Young or Rooney.
Hopefully you captained one of the them.
Antes desse jogo, as 2 seleções nunca haviam jogado.
Fantasy Premier League gameweek 2 showed us once again, how even this years premier league is.
There are only 3 teams that continue with 6 points. Those teams of course being ManU, ManCity and
Wolves.
This gameweek, I again await big things from Chelsea. Their performance last week left a lot of
room to improve, but I think that they will.
Man. Utd: Tottenham: Hearts We look down on them but we look up to them So now we are down in
the relegation places and bottom of the league purely on merit. The team we played last night is
top and the team we play on Sunday are second: so the heat is on. Two games played and some light
shed on the shape of our season.
It was three'n'easy for Manchester United as they beat Tottenham 3-0 at Old
Trafford to-night and it was one of Fergie's Babes Danny Welbeck who opened the scoring on the hour
mark set up by another youngster Tom Cleverley, Welbeck then showed his vision , when back heeling
for Anderson for United's second before golden oldy Ryan Giggs crossed for Wayne Rooney to head
home to complete the rout.
What makes a great defender for your fantasy soccer team? He of course has to play in a winning
team. He of course has to play often and whole games. If he scores a goal or gives an assist now
and then that is a big plus. Of course we wouldnt mind if his price wouldnt be too much either.
So who are these denfenders.
I think the goal of the week is deserve the goal of the week without a doubt
