Where there's subtle product shilling and grammatically correct Tweets on social media, you know
there's a shameless publicity stunt just 'round the bend, Kickettes. And for you today we have one
of the promo shots starring none other than Mrs Peter Crouch for the launch of Lynx Attract For
Her.
Juninho proved to be a handful for most MLS sides in 2011. (Getty Images)
I said a few weeks (or maybe just a couple weeks) back that the biggest thing that the LA Galaxy
needed to replace this winter was Juninho.
Well, what better way to replace him than with him.
The LA Galaxy announced on Tuesday that the club has reached an agreement with Brazilian club
São Paulo FC that will allow midfielder Juninho to return to the Galaxy on loan for the 2012 MLS
season.
As a player, former Spurs and Newcastle winger Chris Waddle was on the winning side at Anfield only
once during his entire playing career. The winger - nicknamed 'Magic Chris' by Marseille fans
during his stint in France - hopes that Harry Redknapp's Spurs team can do the business in
tonight's hotly anticipated game at Anfield, but irrespective of the result, Waddle believes

People talk about the magic of the FA Cup, but don't tell that to me or Hull fans who staked
emotion or cold, hard cash on their team winning last Saturday. I knew I shouldn't have trusted
Matt ‘Tubbsy' Tubbs after he snuck an equaliser for Salisbury City against Forest a few years
back. Still, [..

Much has been made in recent weeks of the Landon Donovan, Clint Dempsey debate. The debate began as
a casual conversation while trying to design the perfect US National Team lineup. It seemed at the
time, there would be no way to pin down which player was truly better. Donovan plies his trade in
Major League Soccer whereas Dempsey produces his magic in the English Premier League.

As your probably aware, Pies suffered a pretty large hack attack yesterday, knocking us off air
for almost the entire day hence the reason we're slightly late with this one, but it's a goody so
we hope you'll forgive the tardyness.
What we have here is Lionel Messi scoring the third goal of an obligatory,
barely-worth-mentioning hat-trick against Malaga on Sunday eve instantly made great by Gol TV
co-commentator Ray Hudson (a long-time Pies hero) reaching a point of euphoric climax in the
process.
Danny Welbeck scored again against Arsenal. This time, unlike the last, it couldn't have been
important. When he last scored against Arsenal Manchester United won 8-2 and were so imperious on
the day that it was a little surprising David De Gea, the Manchester United goalkeeper, did not
manage to get on the scoresheet.
Ah, the magic of the French cup We've just got over our annual dose of nostalgia during FA Cup
third round weekend, but there was definitely a distinct lack of chicken chasing from England's
footballing minnows. The FA Cup has been outdone by France's Coupe De France. Fifth division outfit
Sable face the giants of [.
1. Paul Scholes: he does, indeed, score goals. 2. Poor old Arsenal come unstuck once again when
they have to adapt their game against one of those physical south Wales teams. 3. Bolton keeper
Adam Bogdan knows that if you can keep penalties away from Wayne Rooney's magic thatch then you're
onto a winner.
If ever there was a match made in Heaven in the footballing world, it would have to be between
Arsenal and Thierry Henry, who have found each other again after a five-year absence, with the
magic the same as it ever was.
It was an otherwise drab encounter, with little to get excited about as a makeshift Arsenal team
struggled to break down a determined and dogged Leeds side coming with only one intention a
lucrative replay.
Modern football is a cynical, empty game at times, and as a despondent Fernando Torres lamented a
few months ago, 'the romance in football has gone'. I definitely agree with that, but every once in
a while, the magic and romance of football returns and restores our faith in the game, if only for
a moment.
Mirror: Cheap pints, changing tyres and the magic of the Cup

Over the years there have been few events in sport that can rival the excitement of the FA Cup.
This Manchester Derby was a perfect example of the magic that this tournament embodies. It was
exciting for fans of both ...

Better late than never, this brilliant GIF made us all chuckle like fools yesterday but we had
to wait for a few techy things to be twiddled around before we could post it.
Hope you like, sorry about the wait...

Ahead of this weekend's FA Cup games, we thought it only right to bring you just a teeny weeny
taste of the 'Magic of the Cup™' courtesy of one Wayne Hatswell, a name that will live long in
the memory (possibly) a man who, in one moment of pure unadulterated technical incompetence,
smashed home arguably the worst own-goal ever.
Ah, the magic of the FA Cup third round. Is strangely absent when it comes to us, whilst Leeds
notably seem to get a plum draw each year, we generally don't. Marry the inauspiciousness of the
fixture itself, replicated earlier in the season in the league, with obviously the largely
appalling recent form we've shown and it's not really all that surprising that Forest have just
finally grudgingly opened one of the upper tiers to home fans [.
He knows How-ard it can be If you thought Everton keeper Tim Howard looked a bit glum after finding
the net against Bolton on Wednesday evening, the video above indicates precisely why he wasn't
overjoyed. In his post-match interview, Howard said: "It's not a nice place to be. I've been there
before — a long, [.
Magic Earlier this week we brought you the video of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger playing guitar
while West Brom boss Roy Hodgson was head-banging. Well, Hodgson was clearly so into the music that
Wenger has now invited him to join the band as drummer. Somebody has taken this to the next level
and put together [.
Is Mehmet worse than Vitaslav?
Arguably they are about the same - although Mem hasn't had a lot of time to work his magic, I'd
argue his appointment from Feb should have shown us some better football, better structure than
what we've seen.
Should he be sacked?
Who knows but the Board gave him his chance, also Francis Awaritefe.
Clearly, Juan Mata enjoys being a London tourist! If you happen to be a next
door neighbour at Cresswell Gardens, you can now send over that plate of Arròs
negre or at the very least, a paella! What? You never knew a Chelsea
striker was staying down the road from you?
In the last year we've been joined by Arsenal supporters from Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe,
North America and South America only Antarctica to go. Whatever your beliefs, it is a good time to
remember and be thankful for what unites us.
We are united by our love of The Arsenal and have forged friendships with people most of whom we
are unlikely ever to meet; all made possible by the magic of the internet.
Yes, McLeish has worked his magic in Birmingham for a second time. JG previewed this match well,
pointing out the dreariness of Villa's season.
Kick-off is 7:45pm UK, 2:45pm Eastern, 11:45am Pacific, and has probably already started in
Fiji.
We'll be here an hour or so beforehand, though the last time I promised that I showed up a
minute before kick-off.
We should have higher expectations every week... I don't think it's clever to be excited by
fourth, fifth, sixth or whatever. This is not now, we still have to play many games... Lots of
stuff will happen that is surprising so we have to make sure that we are on the good side and
actually surprise people with our results.

Hold on, calm down, deep breaths.... hear me out, then shout/speak/swear !!
Before I start my reasoning, if you can call it that, I want to say how much I love Robin to
bits, he is just the kind of Captain the club needed after being diddled somewhat by the last few.
His goals this year, in particular this season, have potentially saved us from a major crisis.
Nothing it is simple when it comes to Argentina's Carlos Tevez. An incredibly talented player as
he, who has proven himself at the highest level at great clubs should be rolling out his magic on a
weekly basis. Unfortunately, since his refusal to come on as a substitute against Bayern Munich in
the Champions League [.

have put together a list of gifts that any culé would love.

The Barclays awards for last month have been announced and it's a clean sweep at White Hart Lane
where Harry Redknapp and Scott Parker were both acknowledged.
Harry presided over Spurs' unbeaten league run while Scott was instrumental in maintaining our
climb up to third place in the table and has yet to be on a losing side in a Lilywhite shirt.
"Get ready to get closer. Closer to legends. Closer to history and closer to the unseen magic of
matchday. Get ready to take your seat in the players changing room. Get ready to run down the
players tunnel and to imagine the roar of 60,000 fans. " – Bob Wilson
Those are the words of Arsenal legend Wilson in the video that introduced me to the new
Arsenal ‘Self-guided' Stadium Tour.
Kolo Touré doesn't want his team to lose focus on the day-to-day battle if his current club is
going to match the unbeaten Arsenal season in 2003-04.
Touré, who was part of the team that knocked Arsenal out of the Carling Cup on Tuesday, had
this to say about going unbeaten.
"We started very well but now we just need to forget about it.

Robin van Persie's first goal against Dortmund last night was a fine finish in it's own right,
but it wouldn't have been possible without a little bit of jinky magic on the touchline from one
Alex Song a brilliant passage of play which you can now enjoy again and again and again and
again until the internet runs out of batteries.

We presume that FIFA will be launching an investigation into FC Basel's 'preparations' for their
Champions League tie against Otelul Galati tonight. Last time we checked, goalkeeping coaches from
the Ministry of Magic were not officially accredited by football's governing body.

Sweet FA intelligence The magic of the FA Cup should ensure that fans of non-league clubs rally
round to create an intimidating atmosphere for their opponents, helping to establish the 12th man
mentality. However, fans of Newport County did the opposite thing whilst watching their side lose
out to Shrewsbury Town yesterday lunchtime.

Spotted (you'd be hard-pressed to miss it) in the Sudtribune Stand at the Westfalenstadion last
weekend, Borussia Dortmund fans put on quite a show with a colossal 'skull' tifo display ahead of
their game against Wolfsburg here's the video, along with a brief 'Making Of' segment.
Reality has bitten for Kopites... Dalglish magic alone won't win back the
title
When Kenny Dalglish succeeded Roy Hodgson as Liverpool boss, some Kopites spoke giddily about
him leading the Reds to the title. But 11 months on and they are realising that it will take more
than The King's return to make them great again.
