In Saturday's Madrid derby it was clear that one of Atletico's tactics was to be very physical. That tactic backfired when five Atletico Madrid players were shown yellow cards while two more were shown straight reds.

We all know that Real Madrid have a history of respected Portuguese legends within their ranks, but none of them dared to wear a Bath Robe onto the pitch like Atletico's Paulo Futre (above) did in the 80′s! You can only imagine the look on Alfredo di Stefano's face if Fabio Coentrao were to try something like this in after the match today.

Barcelona – Osasuna may not attract the same audiences as the Madrid derby or El Clasico but for fans who watched the Catalan's 2-0 win last night would have witnessed history in the process. Lionel Messi became the first player to score 50 goals in a Spanish season and, as a result, broke Ferenc Puskas' record of 49 goals in the 1949/50 season.
