I think most Reds fans hoped/expected (delete as appropriate) Harry Kewell's Turkish adventure
to be a big expensive failure, but he's done pretty well and started this season with a bang
scoring in this Europa Cup Qualifier. Milan Baros also put away a very Baros type goal. Proof that
there is life after Anfield, just not a very enjoyable one!

As was rumored here on MLSR on Friday, Red Bull New York looks to bolster their defense with the
signing of Maccabi Haifa defender Leo Krupnik.
We can now tell you that his signing is official and he is awaiting his ITC (international transfer
certificate).

Panama striker Alberto Zapata has confirmed that he will play for Israeli side Maccabi Netanya, and
has already left Panama's camp in Honduras to travel to Israel. Zapata scored the lone goal in the
Guatemala match that confirmed Panama's place in this summer's Gold Cup. He wasn't on the field for
the semifinal against Honduras and won't be there for the final against Costa Rica.
