Benfica's central defender Luisao had an emergency operation on Tuesday in Portugal due to acute
appendicitus. Luisao will remain in hospital until at least the end of the week and will miss the

FC Porto striker Hulk has earned his first ever call-up to the Brazilian national team.
Brazilian manager Dunga gave the striker a call-up for next month's friendlies against England and
Oman.
Hulk will be lining up against some of Brazil's brightest stars when he makes his international
debut, as his fellow strikers will be Manchester City's Robinho, Villareal's Nilmar, and
Confederations Cup sensation Luis Fabiano of Sevilla.

The most successful Portuguese club, Benfica have been largely struggling in the last
few years and despite the heavy investment in the playing squad, they have been unable to
end Porto's domestic domination. The Eagles finished last season in third place but it seems that
they have a really good chance to lift the long awaited title next season.
Before the match started, the big question was if Brazil as a team was back to normal levels of
Dunga suffering seen in the past game or if the last game was a unseen performance by Egypt.
And before Dunga and the fans could seat to much with that question, Brazil was winning 1-0.
Great start for the team that had a squad that tested 3 new players - Miranda replacing Juan, Andre
Santos replacing Kleber and Ramires replacing Elano.
99.9% of the Brazilian public may not love Dunga but he doesn't really care. Or does he?
"When I started with Brazil, people said I'd last two months, and three years later here
I am. I just worry about the job I'm doing and I think that some people have taken this the wrong
