Like sex, football sells. For the good, but usually for that bad as you will see in 10
swift steps. Please take into consideration that there are thousands more, but for now there is one
question I need to ask you What's the French for Va, Va Voom?
10.

As we all know, footballer babies are born with high-stakes winning tickets in the genetic
lottery.
Not sure whether the DNA of their talented fathers mixed with the boobaliciousness of their
mamas and the universal law of wealth equaling happy face is what does it, but it's been
well-documented (by us, anyway) that 'baller babies are fantastically delicious.

By Wednesday night the make up of the automatic UEFA qualifiers for the 2010 World Cup finals
will be known and it is at least possible, if not likely, that there will be one or two surprises
amongst them. Serbia, for example, only need one win from their two remaining matches against
Romania and Austria to condemn France to second place in their group, whilst it is almost certain
that, in spite of having two comfortable home matches against Hungary and Malta as their final two
fixtures, the "lottery of the play-offs" will be the best that Portugal will be able to manage and
they might yet even lose out on second place to one of Denmark, Sweden or even Hungary.

Morning, hope we find you well and all set for this afternoon's crunch game against Man City,
the lottery winning chavs of football.
Under normal circumstances you'd be talking more about the clubs, the tactics and so on, but of
course there's only one story this morning - Emmanuel Adebayor.

According to Buzz Carrick at the always excellent 3rd Degree blog (click here for the original
article and all the details), Heath Pearce may be joining FC Dallas. Specifically, Coach Hyndman
said:
"There's interest from Health Pearce wanting to come back and we've got the #1 lottery [allocation]
spot, so we may be in a situation where we might be able to use it.

What shall we talk about today? The weather and how it's a bitch? There have been two torrential
downpours today, one when I was on my way to work and another when I was on my way home. In
between, glorious sunshine in a baking office with no air conditioning. I need to win the lottery
and I need to win it soon.

With the arrival of Peter Crouch, Tottenham now have four top strikers at what should be the
peak of their football careers. In this day and age, Premiership clubs need to have a depth of
talent in all areas of their squads but this means some players are likely to miss out. If all our
strikers can keep themselves fit for the majority of the season, how will Harry keep them
happy?

Morning all, hope you find you well this Saturday.
Let's start with our old pal Adebayor who has been talking, again, and urging his new club to
buy Kolo Toure. He's hoping it'll be a case of Abu Dhabi Do, saying:
Kolo is a great friend of mine - he's a big player for Arsenal and a top defender.

Morning all. How are things? I'm doing just swell, except the whole not having any money thing is
getting a little old. So when you're wondering, "Hmm, I wonder why the ArseNole hasn't posted in 3
days..." it's probably because I'm sitting around trying to think of a way to make money without
getting a second job.

That description can only mean one thing: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band were in town
tonight. I don't care how many times I see him (this was the ninth), that's what one of his shows
does to me. This was the first time I had seen him since my move here, and so much has changed in
my life since the Richmond show that inspired three posts here that it seemed so long ago, even
though it was only last August.

For a good while now we who support our clubs and this league in MLS have been screaming for which
ever club that has a youth academy can only sign one and wait for a good while to have the chance
to sign another to the senior side and play in first team matches in MLS. The supporters have been
stressed out as well as frustrated about a potential youth player in a MLS Club side that could
have the goods to become the next best youth superstar in their area and the league as well.
