This morning, Lyon finally clinched the signature of Miralem Pjanic, who is the hottest talent in France not born in 1987. Lyon have been negotiating with Metz for weeks, but to so many clubs interested, many with late bids, the deal took quite a long time in being crafted.

It's done! Lyon have officially announced the arrival of their newest goalkeeper in a press conference. And now that there is no possible way for other clubs to steal Hugo Lloris from under our noses, I can finally get a good night's sleep (and so can Lloris now that he'll be joining his BFF Ederson).
