Kit Parade: Manchester United's 1950s kit

Who Ate All the Pies 11 February @ 03:04 AM EST
Manchester United donned a special 1950s-style shirt for yesterday's derby defeat to Manchester City in honour of the Munich air disaster. The club ditched its crest and the logo of sponsors AIG to remember the Busby Babes killed in the crash on February 6, 1958. The shirt - modelled here by Cristiano Ronaldo - is not going on sale to the public so any United fans wanting to recreate the look will have to buy retro or try the Fredi Kanoute approach and tape up the sponsor's logo.
