Holy moly. What Darren Mottcks did last night to Toronto's Logan Emory should be illegal. His
vertical leap to tie the game at 2-2 in the final minutes of the Vancouver-Toronto game was just
sick.
Mattocks is quickly making a name for himself in Vancouver and could easily end up with the
Rookie of the Year award with the pace he is at.
(Mattocks' Michael Jordan impression at 6:30 into the video above)
With a mighty leap, Vancouver's Darren Mattocks showed why he's one of MLS's most impressive
talents, scored a late equalizer and gave Toronto defender Logan Emory a headache. It started with
a pretty ridiculous long cross into the box that the 21-year-old Mattocks casually rode an
invisible elevator over both Emory and outstretched Toronto keeper Milos Kocic to head into the net
at the start of injury time.
Due to a wonderful weekend travelling to Massachusetts, I was spared the bother of watching TFC
stumble against Philly 3-0. So I may have had a more optimistic mindset than many at BMO Field
tonight. It seemed subdued before the game, the crowd had a lack of energy and little anticipation.
It seems that shifting TFC from the team that always loses to the team that most of the time ties
has yet to set the city ablaze.

Those hopes that the gritty effort against Santos Laguna andthe feisty finish Wednesday night would
carry over to the next game, were underattack by half time today against Columbus. At first they
looked like anenergized unit, by the end of the game we were watching a demonstration of hitand
hope.
Emory, emery... whatever. "Board" yet? With a few roster spots still remaining and with
the sudden departure of Geovanny Caicedo creating a (bigger) hole in their defence, Toronto FC have
signed American defender Logan Emory. The 24-year old, who has been trialing with TFC this spring,
has spent the large chunk of his pro career in the USL with Puerto Rico Islanders where he made 51
appearances.
Out goes one defender and in comes another for Toronto FC.
Just days after agreeing to part ways with centerback Geovanny Caicedo, Toronto signed defender
Logan Emory. The 24-year-old Emory, who last played for the Puerto Rico Islanders, joined Toronto
FC on trial during the Walt Disney World Pro Soccer Classic in Orlando this past offseason.
The Rapids have given an update on the status of the 8 trialists that traveled with the team to
Arizona. First-round draft pick Eddie Ababio, Metro State trialist Steven Emory, and former Rapids
player Michael Holody have all been offered contracts. The team has also started negotiations with
Irish international Caleb Folan.
The Rapids left yesterday for preseason training in my old home of the Phoenix metro area. They
released the roster for the trip today which includes all 23 players under contract except for Mac
Kandji who's remaining in Denver to continue rehabbing from his ACL injury he suffered forcing the
MLS Cup wining goal.
Some news today out of Rapids camp about a number of trialists. The big news is that Irish striker
Caleb Folan will be trialling with the team on the Arizona trip. Folan is currently with
Championship side Hull City, but with their current financial difficulties they are looking to
off-load salary and would be willing to let Folan out of his contract.
Today has been an exciting day to be a Portland Timbers fan. First, earlier this morning, we
received confirmation that Colombian central defender Hanyer Mosquera has joined the squad. As a
big center back with experience he'll be invaluable in helping the Timbers shore up some of those
defensive gaffes that were far too prevalent last season.
-Today we got one good match and one that should be not as good.
Napoli v Chelsea I am a diehard Chelsea fan but I gotta be honest. I think that Napoli might take
it to them
today. It's not so much that I think Napoli is playing that good as I think Chelsea and more
importantly AVB
have a flawed system.
Alex Bunbury foi um internacional canadiano que durante seis épocas, entre 1993/94 e 1998/99, foi
a principal referência atacante do Marítimo.
Seniors Logan Andryk and Patrick Hodan, who helped lead Milwaukee Marquette to its

But regardless of where Seattle end up at the end of the season — if they win a third straight
US Open Cup, if they qualify for the knockout rounds of the CONCACAF Champions League, even if they
finally get past that first round of the MLS Cup playoffs — it's remarkable to consider how
quickly the Sounders have become a force in this league.
Indi Cowie a 16-year-old soccer phenom from North Carolina can freestyle with the best. "The family
garage is her laboratory," notes the New York Times Magazine. "There are times when
there's an enormous bang and I wake up at 5 in the morning thinking there's an intruder in the
house," says Indi's father, Logan Cowie.
