Amare Stoudemire has been outspoken about his supposed Jewish roots. He even traveled to Israel
to learn more about his heritage. Now there are rumors that Amare Stoudemire is thinking about
starting a Hebrew school.
At Amare Stoudemire's Hebrew school, the teaching would focus on the Hebrew language and other
aspects of the history of the Jewish people.
With the NBA season getting the green light thanks to the end of the lockout, a quick offseason
free agent signing period is set to begin on Dec. 9. Who are the best NBA players in free agency?
Here's our top ten NBA free agents:
1. Tyson Chandler
When healthy, Tyson Chandler is a championship caliber defensive force.
We've taken a look at the best teams in the NBA and the worst teams in the NBA. Now let's take a
look at the individual awards, starting with the NBA Most Valuable Player award. Here are the early
favorites for the 2012 MVP Award.
1. Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder
During the lockout, Kevin Durant was busy balling all around the country.
We are starting to get some details of the 66-game NBA season that will take place following the
end of the lockout. The season will start on Christmas Day and will run through April 26th. The
playoffs will be pushed back and end later than usual.
During the regular season, teams will play conference opponents a total of 48 times.
While NBA Basketball continues to suffer from a frustrating lockout, superstar LeBron James has
made headlines visiting Anfield and becoming more attached to Liverpool a club he believes is at
the same level as Manchester United.
James recently enjoyed the Reds' 1-1 draw with their bitter rivals at Merseyside and followed up
by meeting all members of the team where he is a minority shareholder.

Thanks to the lockout, it may be several more months before we ever get to see another NBA game
(come on guys, if the NFL can figure it out, why can't you?) but Nike wants to remind us all that
basketball never stops, even if the pros do.
Yesterday, the NBA owners and NBA players made progress toward ending the lockout by negotiating
system details. However, the two sides avoided the main sticking point: the basketball related
income (BRI) split. Today, that is exactly what will be discussed.
The players, who received 57% of the BRI in the last CBA, want at least 52% this time.
NBA star Lebron James was among thousands of fans who attended last weekend's Premier League
fixture between Liverpool and Manchester United. The Miami Heat forward was clearly excited as was
evident by his tweets.
"Just got to Liverpool, England,"
"Riding through the city.
Sorry I've been keeping you waiting, I still really need help writing the MLS Offside. If you or
anyone you know is interested, email me at kaufmb@d-e.org. Please.
It was a week of events that just make you go "Jeez". But not in a bad way; this is more of a
raised- inflection, lean back when you say it "jeez", as opposed to the head-shaking, disappointing
one we're used to.
Liverpool FC: The Reds Will Finish in the Top 4 - originally posted on Soccerlens.com
Before culling through their players ahead of the August 31 transfer deadline in the game of
divide and conquer, Liverpool FC had exhibited more diligence than any other club to pull
themselves together and prove they still subsisted since the start of last year's 2010 – 2011
Premier League season.
The Georgetown Hoyas basketball team was on a tour through China playing hoops against local
teams. Unfortunately, it turned violent as Georgetown brawled with a Chinese team on Thursday. You
can see the Georgetown brawl video in China below.
According to reports, the game was very rough and tumble with the Chinese team getting most of
the calls.
Besiktas, the basketball team in Turkey that signed Deron Williams earlier in the summer, is now
negotiating with Kevin Durant. While Besiktas is still trying to sign Kobe Bryant, it appears as if
Kevin Durant is their fallback option. And by the sounds of it, the two sides could very well agree
to a contract soon.
Stephon Marbury is the biggest NBA star to play in China. The obvious big difference between the NBA
and the NFL when it comes to options for where to play is that there are few other tackle football
leagues around the world, but dozens of successful basketball leagues. The NFL players have very
little chance of making a living playing tackle football outside of the U.
The lockout is over, but fans on talk radio yesterday indicated they are through with supporting
the NFL. This is typical rhetoric from distraught fans after lockouts and strikes, except for one
factor, there were no games missed. Have fans reached a level of frustration that may carry over
and influence a leveling off of popularity?

The 2011 NBA Draft will be remembered as a sluggish event with unrecognizable athletes being
celebrated and then ushered into a league headed towards a lockout. This draft was filled with
fanfare, but not anybody worthy of it.
Was this the beginning of something bigger and scarier for the NBA?
We're #136! We're #136! We're #136!
Okay, these figures about the "200 best-paying teams in the world" is a bit of out date as
they're based on last season. Hull and Portsmouth are not in the EPL, nor is Siena still in Serie
A.
But it's nice to know we pay about the same on salaries that Fiorentina do, right?
#5 - Nobody Wants to See That: For some reason 19-year old Liverpool player Jonjo Shelvey
thought it would be a good idea to put a picture of a penis on his Twitter account. Guess what?
It's not...shocking I know. Jonjo has apologized using the always convenient, "one of my mates

By Tony Edwards – SAN JOSE, CA (Mar 23, 2011) US Soccer Players – What will be the biggest draw
at the Oakland Coliseum this year? The Athletics? The Raiders (with the lockout, be careful how you
answer)? U2 on its ‘360 Degrees' tour? Right now, the winner would be the Mexican National Team.
With no English-language advertising unless you count the electronic billboard along I-880 in front

standard cliché answers as well as comporting himself as the leader of a league who will only take
