A member of the Italian squad which lifted the 2006 World Cup, Crisitian Zaccardo has taken to LinkedIn in search of a new club.

The wing-back appeared for Serie B side Vicenza last season, with the team ultimately relegated at the end of the campaign.

Now, the 35-year-old has posted a come-and-get-me message on LinkedIn, in the hope of securing a new team ahead of the new season.

Without a clubsince being let go by Anderlecht last summer, former Netherlands international Demy de Zeeuw has taken to the lonely hearts columns (sort of) in a desperate bid to find himself gainful employment.

The 31-year-old ex-Ajax, AZ Alkmaar and Spartak Moscow midfielder, who has 27 international caps to his name, has begun advertising his services on professional networking site LinkedIn the business world's answer to Facebook.
