No, triskaidekaphobia isn't a fear of Greek appetizers, it's actually the fear of the dreaded
unlucky No. 13 something defender Kris Lindsay of Irish club Linfield is discovering first
hand.
Since joining Linfield in 2006 and making the doomed decision to go with the 13 shirt, Lindsay
has suffered six different injuries all of which have been unrelated to each other ("a knee injury,
a hamstring niggle, a neck muscle spasm, calf strain, a broken bone in his hand, concussion and
then he needed stitches after a clash of heads during Saturday's clash with former club
Portadown").

The first leg of the first qualifying round of the 2009-10 Champions League is now complete. If you
weren't able to find your favorite club on the tele over the past few days, don't be shocked
because (a) your favorite team probably wasn't playing and (b) you would have been hard pressed to
find any of the matches on television unless you happen to live in San Marino.

Glentoran F.C. is a Northern Irish football club, playing in east Belfast. The club, founded in
1882, plays in the IFA Premiership. Glentoran's biggest rivals are Linfield F.C. Linfield and
Glentoran are nicknamed Belfast's Big Two, as they have traditionally dominated local football in
Northern Ireland since the demise of Belfast Celtic.
