ليون 2 : 1 سبارتا براغ by kooralive There was no shortage of clubs naming some very young players in the starting line-ups for last night's round of Europa League games, but Lyon striker Bafetimbi Gomis took it too far. The France international whipped a baby's dummy as in a dummy that would ordinarily [.
The close season is traditionally a time where clubs jettison their weak players, replacing
them with footballers with the skill to take the club one step further, whether that be to qualify
or European competition or avoid another year's relegation struggle. With that in mind I thought it
would be interesting to see which clubs decided a wholesale change would be preferable to keeping
faith with the players who toiled their way through the 2011/2012 season.
Fresh off their first win in a long time, the Portland Timbers remain at home this week to take
on Western Conference rival the Colorado Rapids in a two game, home and away series. While the
Timbers are still sitting at the bottom of the Western Conference table, last week's win has
offered them a gleam of hope that they don't have to stay down there.
Hello everyone! Welcome to BFZ's first ever live text. Honestly, we have no idea how this will
turn out but hey, we're here to try! Glad you're here to follow all the action from tonight's
game.
This page will auto-update whenever we get around to typing something that's worthy of a live
text.
Sahin at Arsenal without Song. by KJ As it's becoming ever more likely that Alex Song will leave
Arsenal for Barcelona, Wenger must plan life without him. The player closest to signing for us this
very moment is Nuri Sahin on loan from Madrid. I want to look at possible line-ups next season
without Song [.
Should Diego Fagundez see more time on Saturday? (Photo: Chris Aduama/aduama.com)
The New England Revolution's (6-12-5, 23 points) playoff hopes are all but dead, even if the
team manages to win Saturday night against the Chicago Fire (11-7-5, 38 points) at Toyota Park in
Bridgeview, IL. The Revolution have scored just twice in their last six games and haven't won since
July 7.
Regular season got you down? Tired of seeing yet another three points slip away from a team that
continues to disappoint? I'm right there with you. Which is why I'm actually kind of excited about
tonight's exhibition match. Were the Portland Timbers setting the league on fire, I would see it as
a nuisance.
After the LA game William and I were talking on the way down to the post game conference with
Gavin Wilkinson and I asked him this question: "More negatives or positives to take away from that
game?" His response was "2 positives and 3 negatives." Which is probably an apt description for the
LA game but now their is a new LA opponent and one who has a home record that is worse than their
road record.
Now what I mean by "bendy" is "rubbery", "elastic" or "flexible".
You see, shit happens. Last term, we had Santos/Gibbs at LB, Verm, Kos, JD and Mert for the two
CB slots and Sagna/Jenks at RB. And yet, within seven minutes of the season kicking off, we had the
Assistant Groundsman at RB.
Also, I'm convinced Arteta was bought as a Nasri/Cesc AM replacement.

Tonight, the Portland Timbers take on the best team in the league: the San Jose Earthquakes.
While it would be easy to walk into tonight's game with visions of doom and gloom for the Timbers,
remember that it was just over a week ago that many of us were feeling the same way about the
Seattle Sounders game.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar: The Dutch striker has started to re-build his career at Schalke after
disappointing stints in Spain and Italy but suggestions are that the German side have said that he
can leave if the £17m buy out clause in his contract is met. Needless to say, as an long term
‘target' Spurs are one of the clubs mentioned in the reports.
In this episode Sky Sports film their player line-ups, Micah is Question of Sport's mystery
guest and Vincent, Joleon and AJ have a special photoshoot at Kippax street.
The Rushes goes back behind the scenes with the Citytv cameras giving old footage a familiar
'Inside City' treatment, from the days before it became a regular fixture in the CityTV
schedule.
Back at it after 2008. Michael Bradley had hair. The US played on the counterattack. They had
Heath Pearce at left back and Pablo Mastroeni getting stuck-in centrally.
16:45 CET (10:45 a.m. Eastern) Friends, I'll throw the starting line-ups on here when they're
available, and any last-minute talking points. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments. If
nothing else, I'll pop in with my expressions of joy or despair at halftime.
Come on you Blues.
The first thing making the rounds is that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will start for England.
Everything that you want to know about the Antigua & Barbuda side here in our preview.
Also we had two corrections but interesting comparisons of the average age of Euro 2012 starters
to USMNT current projected starters here. Check it out.
Despite the fact that England's first game at Euro 2012 is only five days away, the back pages have
little time for line-ups and strategies as they continue to focus on the week's big story Rio
Ferdinand's omission from the England squad. Robbie Fowler might not be much loved around Old
Trafford but, through [.
With the SPANISH FOOTBALL LEAGUE title in one pocket REAL MADRID travelled to the Middle-East to
fill the other pocket with 3M€ with a "Friendly-Exhibition" game against the KUWAIT National
Football Team. CR7 The Spanish Club took 22 players & all 22 played during the 90th mins with 2
distinct line-ups in each half.
Starting line-ups and benches will be announced and posted approximately an hour before
kickoff.
Use this space to discuss the game. Please do not use it to post illegal streams, troll, or

a douche bag.
Kickoff shortly to discover who Chelsea's opponent will be in the Champion's League Final.
Friends and enemies....
This may be as thrilling if not more than yesterday's if merely for the fast the Jose Mourinho's
side need to open it up and Bayern's domestic campaign is lost. That and the Champion's League
Final is in their backyard.
Right up until around 1730 tonight (UK TIME) there will be all sorts of permutations about just who
Roberto Di Matteo will select to start for Chelsea tonight against Spurs at Wembley with Wednesday
against Barcelona in mind.
I personally think that Chelsea should take both games with the same level of importance and field
the strongest possible line ups.
Full team news ahead of the semi final with Chelsea will follow but for the time being, William
Gallas has indicated he is fit and ready to return against his former club if needed. For much of
this year, the centre back pairing has been an issue but the French international could walk
straight back into the side.
We left it late, but a richly deserved three points. Thoughts as follows:
* There was a degree of consternation when the line-ups were announced, but it's hard to know who
else Arsene could've played. Gervinho was apparently injured, and Ramsey could hardly start after
the vitriol he received last week.
Arsenal fell to a 2-0 pre-season friendly at the hands of Manchester City, yesterday evening at a
flooded Bird's Nest Stadium. Quick, successive goals right before half time from Pablo Zabaleta and
Yaya Toure sealed the win for the defending Premier League champions, as the Gunners wrapped up the
Chinese leg of their Asia Tour.

Sunderland v Liverpool Kick-off: 17.30 BST Venue Stadium of light Referee: Martin Atkinson Liverpool FC
The Reds travel to the stadium of light on Saturday hoping to chalk up a first league victory for new boss Brendan Rodgers. Left-back Jose Enrique's knee injury will be assessed ahead of tomorrow's trip to the Stadium of Light.
Yesterday Dave talked about the fact that the Sounders new roster leaves them with a very
flexible Ideal 11. I want to take a moment and drill down into the roster and examine some of the
possible line ups and how they might be used.
A Traditional 11
Dave laid out a solid version of the team's obvious Ideal 11.
Tonight brings down the curtain on the Spanish football season as Athletic Bilbao and Barcelona
will meet in the Copa del Rey Final in Madrid, in what will be Pep Guardiola's last game in charge
of Barca.
But if Guardiola is going to leave with another winners medal, he is going to have to do it with
a injury riddled squad.
With the NATO Summit in town, the Chicago Fire must be pleased to escape the chaos of the Second
City (where the protests look like this) for the Pacific Northwest (where protests look a little
different). One of the more surprising teams of the season, the Fire are currently sitting 4th in
the Eastern Conference with as many 5 games in hand on some teams above them (D.
