Tottenham Hotspur 5-0 Newcastle United Premier League 11th February 2012
Harry Redknapp's charges gave their boss the perfect homecoming present, as they presented their
exhonerated manager with a superb 5-0 win against Newcastle.
THFC1882 presents Adam Nathan's report of Tottenham Hotspur's visit to
Manchester City.
They are two time-old clichés, but not only is it a funny old game, it's also one heck of a
rollercoaster following Tottenham Hotspur. After a drab first half, the second period against
Manchester City yesterday afternoon pretty much had it all.
Ahead of their important match up against third place seat, Tottenham Hotspurs this weekend,
Manchester City's defender, Joleon Lescott insisted that getting a win over Spurs wouldn't be an
attempt to stop Harry Redknapp's team surged in the table but more of staying away from Manchester
United's chase.

Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers Premier League 14th January
2012
Much has been written and spoken in recent weeks about Tottenham's title burgeoning title
credentials. However, against Wolves at White Hart Lane, the Lilywhites somewhat struggled to live
up to the hype, producing a disappointing display in front of their home fans.
Tottenham Hotspurs are continuing their pressure on the Manchester Duo in the top of premier
league table after Harry Redknapp's side successfully defeated Everton 2-0 on Wednesday.
The victory excites Redknapp as with all three points, his team are now level on points with
second place, Manchester United, and only three points shy of the leader, Man City.
Tottenham Hotspurs ability to stay close with the two Manchester teams, especially with the
Lilywhites' latest victory over West Bromwhich Albiom, which continue to lift Spurs confidence in
challenging for the title.
The London club's winning goal scorer against West Brom, Jermaine Defoe, revealed that his team
will continue to provide pressure towards Man City along with Man United, who are currently ahead
of Harry Redknapp teams in the table.

Norwich City 0-2 Tottenham Hotspur Premier League 27th December 2011
It's fair to say that Gareth Bale, for the last couple of seasons, has been the subject of more
hype and superlatives than most footballers in the Premier League.
Still sitting in third place behind the two Manchester sides, who are leading the table,
Tottenham Hotspurs are feeling that they have a legitimate shot in competing for the title
challenge but in order to make things easier they need something more.
According to the Lilywhites' manager, Harry Redknapp, it would be much better for his team if
they can grab a big name signing this January, as that superstar can lift the team's performance
into the same level as the two Manchester teams.
In form Tottenham Hotspurs striker, Emmanuel Adebayor, who arrived in a loan deal from
Manchester City apparently believes that his team might find a patch to catch up with City this
January, mainly because of the African Nations Cup.
Adebayor is confident that the departure of Yaya Toure along with Kolo Toure to defend their
respective country, Ivory Coast, in the upcoming competition set to be held at Gabon and Equatorial
Guinea.
Tottenham Hotspurs' bid in acquiring points in the hectic Premier League during this Holiday
period gets a massive boost after the latest report confirmed that one of their most important
players, Rafael Van der Vaart, is fit enough to play.
Van der Vaart picked up an injury during Spurs latest match against Chelsea and there were fears
that he might be out for quite a while but medical checked up revealed a positive outcome
instead.
This isn't going to be overly analytical of the game, THFC1882 is about to go
on it's Christmas holidays! Before that though we take a brief look at Tottenham Hotspur versus
Chelsea from The Lane.
On the balance of play both sides will have been satisfied with a point.

Tottenham Hotspur 3-0 Bolton Wanderers Premier League 3rd December 2011
Harry Redknapp's Lilywhites strolled home to yet another league victory as they consolidated
their place in the top three in the league.
Tottenham Hotspurs fine run brought their position high up in the league table as Harry
Redknapp's squad are not hanging at third behind the Manchester duo and with a game in hand as
well.
This situation pretty brought the optimism board around their players, such as Jermaine Defoe,
who believes that his team are on a verge to achieve something great by the end of season.
Saturday 26th November 2011, 3pm Kick-off. The Hawthorns.
It's a rare Saturday 3pm Saturday kick off for Tottenham Hotspur this week. Not that the game
time should faze Harry Redknapp's dazzling Spurs side, on the face of it, not much could or should
at the moment.

Before getting into detailed discussion about the likely lineups, tactics and outcome of yet
another Sunday afternoon Spurs match, let's get one thing out of the way first.
Tottenham Hotspurs failed to present a gift for their coach, Harry Redknapp, who has just had an
operation, after the Lilywhites' second string got beaten by Rubin Kazan in the latest Europa
League group stage tie.
Meanwhile, Stoke City continues their excellent run in Europe by picking up another victory
against Macabi Tel Aviv, proving their ability to compete with foreign teams in the competition yet
still pretty competitive in the league.
Thursday 20th October 2011. White Hart Lane. Kick off 8.05pm. Channel 5.
Thursday night sees a top of the table clash in Group A of the Europa League. Visitors Rubin
Kazan like Spurs have taken four points from their opening two games of the Group stages and are
sure to provide the Lilywhites toughest test yet in the competition.
Although the winter transfer market is still far away, Tottenham Hotspurs have already set one
of their main transfer target in January, which is Bolton Wanderers' star defender, Gary Cahill,
who was actually targeted since this summer.
Confirmation about Spurs' undying interest on Cahill, arrives from the Lilywhites' manager,
Harry Redknapp, who revealed to the press his hope to finally acquire the center back's signature
after failing to do so in the summer market.
Scott Parker plying his trade for the lilywhites of North London. Oh how different Sunday's derby
could have gone had Arsene Wenger listened to the calls for experienced reinforcements. The calls
had been ringing all summer for experienced...

Another Monday morning and off to work for many faced with the negative banter that an Arsenal
defeat brings. But worse, not just any defeat the Spuds have turned us over, years of disingenuous
crowing at our North London neighbours is coming home to roost today. All that "I can't wait to get
to work" of previous years, doesn't work so well today does it?

Tottenham Hotspur 4-0 Liverool Premier League 18 September 2011
On the evidence of this game, it is 'Arry Redknapp's Spurs side which are looking more like top
four contenders than Liverpool. Kenny Dalglish's side were totally outplayed on Sunday by a
Tottenham side inspired by impish schemer Luka Modric.

He may not have picked up as many bargains in the transfer window as he would have liked, but
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp was a happy man on Saturday, after watching new signings Emmanuel "I
still love Arsenal" Adebayor and Scott Parker inspire the Lilywhites to their first win of the
campaign.
Tottenham Hotspurs' midfielder, Sandro, hints at potential future aside from White Hart Lane as
the Brazilian international revealed his dream of playing in Italian Serie A sometime, which he
believes would be another positive step for his footballing career.
Sandro, who is currently sidelined because of injury have been highly linked with a potential
move to several Serie A teams such as Inter Milan, Ac Milan and most recently Roma but opted to
stay in England for the new season, pretty much opens the door for those teams to approach him in
the future.
Reaching the final days of the summer transfer market, Tottenham Hotspurs looking really keen on
ensuring their squad status for the new season by adding new signings and also working hard in
keeping their important player at White Hart Lane.
Regarding new additions, reports from England have confirmed that Spurs managed to acquire
Emmanuel Adebayor along with youngster, Yago Falque both on loan.
A young Manchester United side defeated Tottenham Monday night in what was the North London
sides first run out in the EPL this season. After having their opening game called off at home
against Everton, Spurs fans had to wait until the last day of week two to see their team
involved.
And it wasn't an enjoyable start for the Lilywhites as Manchester United were as ruthless as
they were clinical.
With the upcoming season just around the corner, Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp will have
to decide who will be the starting goalkeeper for the Lilywhites. The current starting keeper
Heurelho Gomes continues to have difficulty in goal,...

The future of Luca Modric at Tottenham Hotspurs remains a mystery as the White Hart Lane based
outfit are still not keen on letting the Croatian go despite Modric has already filled in a
transfer request after hearing out interest from Chelsea.
Despite already acknowledging the player's request, Spurs' manager, Harry Redknapp, insisted
that the club won't let Modric leave as he is considered an important player and still have a long
term contract with the Lilywhites.
Luca Modric has pretty much been a hot property this summer as despite the rejection of
Tottenham Hotspurs in selling the player, reports claim that the player's suitors are not giving up
on them and his agent pretty much encouraged the move.
Nikky Vukan, who represented Modric stated to the press that the recent offer worth around 22
million pound, allegedly made by Chelsea would be to little for Spurs in considering as the number
are not far from what the Lilywhites paid to sign him few years ago.
Arsenal midfielder Abou Diaby has said that he wears a TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR shirt occasionally in the
comfort of his house. Gunners medio Diaby said that the shirt was gifted to him by French teammate
Younes Kaboul, who currently plies his trade with the Lilywhites. The French star's comments
regarding him wearing a Spurs top is [.
Tottenham Hotspurs' failure in reaching the Champions League zone this season has caused a
troubling rumors regarding some of their important players as the media speculated that some of
them might leave in the summer, including Croatian international, Luca Modric.
However, there's still some good news for the Lilywhites' fans as despite failing to reach the
top four seat, Modric apparently is still keen on continuing his journey at White Hart Lane.
Failing to get the Champions League ticket for next summer, left lots of disappointment for
Tottenham Hotspurs, especially for their manager, Harry Redknapp, who has already made plans to
make his team much more competitive next summer in order to regain the CL ticket.
Speaking to the press, Redknapp, stated that he is looking forward to get one or two more
quality players that could improve his team's quality as in terms of numbers, the Lilywhites
actually are not short of players.
Jose was trying but he knew the thought of playing Jenas would render Harry inconsolableThat
tub-thumping, all-for-one, rallying cry all seems rather silly now, doesn't it?
Tottenham's Champions League hopes were all but extinguished in Madrid as Jose Mourinho's men
delivered a no-prisoners performance to catch Spurs off guard and reduce them to a 4-0 defeat.
Good news arriving from Tottenham Hotspurs camp ahead of their important fixtures in April as
one of Harry Redknapp favorite boys, Tom Huddlestone, has recovered from injury and able to start
training again. Having been absent since November after having an operation on his ankle,
Huddlestone's return brought a smile on Redknapp's face despite the difficulties the manager might
be having soon in composing his midfield knowing that the fact other players such as Sandro and
Palacios have been doing well during Huddleston's absence.
And just when we had all got our breath back after the Milan game, and switched our focus back
to domestic matters, Gary Lineker of all people matches us with Real blinking Madrid.
Minor Digression
Some lilywhites of my acquaintance reacted with dismay to the draw, but around these parts there
were back-slaps and whoops unconfined.
How times have changed at Tottenham Hotspur. After Tottenham Hotspur showed Sunday how leaky their
defense could be as Wolverhampton Wanderers ran riot, It was refreshing to see the Lilywhites give
a defensively sound performance Wednesday night...

Tottenham have slapped a £50million price tag on playmaker Luka Modric in an attempt to
ward off growing interest from Manchester United.
Modric sporting a Manchester United shirt
Modric has been the subject of much transfer speculation as Manchester United boss Sir Alex
Ferguson seeks a long-term replacement for the aging Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs and the Scot is
ready to launch a spectacular summer bid for the Croat.
Having spent most of time in the treatment room, Jonathan Woodgate, can consider himself rather
lucky that he possessed a good talent as despite of his little contribution for Tottenham Hotspurs
this season, the player could soon get a contract renewal. The speculation about Woodgate's renewal
was being revealed by Spurs' manager himself, Harry Redknapp, who stated his hope that the
31-years-old defender could still stay and play at White Hart Lane for couple more years.
