The transfer window might be over but that is not stopping a number of clubs from actively pursuing summer targets. After an amazing 7-1 victory over Blackburn on Saturday, Arsenal manager has immediately turned his attention back to weightier issues stating that his interest for Lille player Eden Hazard has not waned.

Arsene Wenger is quoted as talking about how much he likes Lille's £30m-rated Eden Hazard, but he basically says that Hazard is too expensive for Arsenal.

Seeking a new challenge in the summer

Hazard spoke to Canal+ today and shed some light on his current situation.

Reports doing the rounds suggest that Liverpool are in the market looking to buy a striker to bloster their attack. The Reds have been linked with Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe who Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish is willing to offer £10 million to acquire.

However a tug of war is emerging between Tottenham and Defoe with Redknapp set on keeping him at White Hart Lane while Defoe is bent on leaving after already telling his agent that he wants to move in this transfer window.

Moussa Sow has come out and said he wants to play in the Premier League and he describes the opportunity of joining Liverpool as his 'Dream Move'.

Sow was last season's top scorer in Ligue 1, scoring 25 goals. He would help fill the massive void in Liverpool's attacking options.

He told Sky Sports: "I am at Lille now but as we all know I want to play in England one day.

Liverpool loanee Joe Cole scored three goals for Lille on Saturday night as the Ligue 1 outfit Lille beat Chantilly 6-0 to bok their place in the last 32 of the French Cup.Cole has been in great form for Lille this season, and his goals came in the 22nd, 59th and 65th minute.The former Chelsea man recently hinted that he could stay in France after his loan spell ends.

There's obviously no transfer news as yet from White Hart Lane but surprisingly, the rumour mill is also a little quiet after the Christmas break.

As far as any potential incomings are concerned, we looked at the possibility of either Christopher Samba or James Tomkins at the back while our search for a striker could see Harry secure the services of Lille's Moussa Sow.

I know everyone does not agree with my starting 11, so let the trashing begin.

Former Chelsea forward Joe Cole has emerged from total obscurity to comment on the on going crisis at his former club. Cole who is now with French outfit Lille was quoted as saying that Chelsea made a big mistake in sacking Ancelotti.

I could not agree more. After failing to defend their Premier League title and getting knocked out of the Champions League for the umpteenth time, Abramovich did the only thing he knew best and sacked Ancelotti hoping to replace him with someone who could guarantee him immediate success.
