A U.S. Men's National Team goalkeeper has signed a new contract.

William Yarbrough has agreed to a new contract with Club Leon of Liga MX, according to esportes.mx. The 28 year old Mexican-American has agreed to an extension with the team, where he's played since 2013, that will keep him in Mexico for the next four years.

Atlas president Gustavo Guzman tipped off reporters about development on Tuesday, saying it was "very good news" that a new outlet for Mexican soccer was coming into existence just as the country's clubs pulled out of the Copa Libertadores.

Friday's soccer news starts with the scores. The Liga MX Clausura final opened with Tigres coming back against Chivas to draw 2-2. Tigres fell behind at home to an Alan Pulido goal in the 23rd minute. Rodolfo Pizarro doubled Chivas's lead in the 42nd. Andre Pierre Gignac scored for Tigres in the 85th and equalized three minutes later.
