The first week of La Liga had already been lost and it was not looking like good for week two as
numerous meeting through out the week had ended in a deadlock. However, on Thursday afternoon talks
between the Association of Spanish Footballers (AFE) and Liga de Futbol Profesional (LFP) finally

profesionales (planteada el 11.08.2011) se hizo realidad para no iniciar la temporada (2011-12) de
la Liga española y, al cabo de múltiples reuniones, continúa vigente para extenderse hacia la
segunda fecha (programada) del torneo.
22.08.2011 - Transcurrido un tiempo suficiente de negociación, la huelga de jugadores
profesionales (planteada el 11.08.2011) se hizo realidad para no iniciar la temporada (2011-12) de
la Liga española y, al cabo de múltiples reuniones, continúa vigente para extenderse hacia la
segunda fecha (programada) del torneo.
Tanto la LFP como la AFE asumen que están condenadas a entenderse. Aunque sigan manteniendo sus
diferencias, en la reunión que mantuvieron ayer hubo un acercamiento. Hoy la patronal de clubes ha
prometido presentar ofertas sobre el Fondo de GarantÃa Concursal. La posibilidad de desconvocar la
huelga de la segunda jornada se aproxima.

provider of the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP), PUMA, has launched the official match balls
for the 2011/12 Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 seasons. Both are based on the PowerCat (or PWR-C) 1.10 soccer

The LFP (Ligue de Football Professionnel) unveiled today the new Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 PUMA ball for
the 2011-2012 season. This is the third Ligue 1 ball made by PUMA (which partnership with LFP runs

This weekend's games in La Liga will go ahead as scheduled after a Madrid court upheld a
challenge from six breakaway clubs and blocked proposed strike action.
