Another Ba-rgain buy? Newcastle obviously think they've hit on a successful transfer formula, so
they're sticking to it. They've brought another Senegal international striker called Demba with a
history of playing in the Bundesliga. Papiss Demba Cisse has signed from Freiburg in a
five-and-a-half-year deal, for an undisclosed fee thought to be in the region [.

- NOTE: THE CLOCKS WERE CHANGED LAST NIGHT IN the UNITED KINGDOM!
There's a certain retro feel about the Premiership this year, what with Norwich and QPR knocking
about on the shop floor. It's like the mid-nineties again; a more innocent time when Trevor
Sinclair, Darren Eadie, Les Ferdinand and Ruel Fox could justifiably call themselves king. (Well,
perhaps not the last one.
News today that former Newcastle United left-back Olivier Bernard will be entered into Show Racism
the Red Card's Hall of Fame on Sunday afternoon. Olivier Bernard while at Newcastle Bernard will be
inducted unto the Hall of Fame at half-time in Sunday's game between Newcastle and Tottenham, by

Twitter MLS outfit Chicago Fire are said to be interested in securing the services of veteran
Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand.
As a fan of a Non-League side it's very rare that I have anyone to talk to about the team I
support. I completely understand why some people will have little or nothing to say about the
Non-League but what really gets on my nerves is when I hear people writing it off as being a poor
level of football.
Former Sunderland defender Anton Ferdinand secured a deadline day transfer to Premier League
newboys Queens Park Rangers. The 26 year old was faced with increased competition at the Stadium of
Light this season after the summer arrivals of former Manchester United defenders Wes Brown and
John O'Shea, and has opted for more playing time at QPR.
Whereas it's looking like the transfer of Robbie Keane is drawing ever closer, the question as
to which of our strikers will join him remains unanswered. Yesterday, Les Ferdinand was widely
reported as having intimated that Spurs didn't need a new centre foward and that the men in place
were more than capable of scoring the goals needed to put us back in Champions League
contention.
As we know, Jermain Defoe has scored an abysmal 3 league goals this season, the latest of which
against West Brom, was his personal 100th goal in our colours, his personal 100th goal in the
Premier League and the 1000th Tottenham Hotspur goal in the premier league. He revealed this week
that it was a chat with ex-Spur Les Ferdinand that helped him become the 20th player to make it
into the Premier League's 100 goals club.
Jermain Defoe joined an elite band of Spurs players with his 100th goal for the club in the 2-2
draw with West Brom at the weekend. Despite a poor season, Defoe insists he is fit and sharp and
looking to keep adding to his tally.
Defoe said: "It was a relief to get to 100. It has been on my mind a lot to be honest.

Dani Behr dated Ryan Giggs and Les Ferdinand in her younger years which was a
major story in the tabloids at the time. In 2002 Dani was named Maxim's presenter of the year
before getting her big break in 2003 with reality show Boy meets Boy.
Dani married Surfer Carl Harwin in 2005 and the pair currently reside in Australia with their
two Kids Daughter Coco (5) and Son Zane Max (3).
Newcastle's Shola Ameobi seems to divide opinion, with some fans eager to get shot of him at the
first opportunity and with others jumping to his defence. This article looks at both sides of the
argument. I had an argument with my wife the other day. Having left our TomTom at home, it was one

5/19/2001.
That was the last time that Tottenham were able to experience the joys of victory against
Manchester United. For what it's worth though, Spurs' 3-1 win at White Hart Lane on the final day
of the 2000/01 season was all but a meaningless match for United, who finished the campaign ten
points clear of Arsenal to capture a third straight Premier League title.
