See what all the fuss was about here.
Read about it here.
It's fair to say that what we've all just witnessed was the kind of performance we've been
looking from spurs this season especially the second half performance anyway. The game took shape
after Lennon's first touch on the ball, at which point he displayed that time off the pitch doesn't
necessarily mean that he wouldn't improve his game.

All the results went our way yesterday; so one can assume using Jenas' law that the odds are the
we'll be running into a little trouble today against Lancashire's finest custodians of the game.
(On the assumption that Blackburn have turned into something resembling a pile of detritus.

what do you want from me?
Well; in the press anyway. What he can say he will say and for the most part we're going to be
looking worse for it. However, the way that Darren played in our system was all well and good; but
lacked a certain 101 cutting edge that we now have with our striking collective.

Hello Gooners. Hope you are all well this friday. Don't know about you but I am super pumped up
for this north london Derby. Not that I wasn't pumped for it all these years....
..Living in a place about 200 miles from North london, it used to be pretty hard to develop that
aversion for Spurs.

This Saturday will once again see another North London derby. A fixture which
is one of my favourite throughout the year and yet at the same time one that I dread the most.Â
For the last 10 years, Arsenal have been the favourite to win the derby which means that anything
less than this feels like a victory for Spurs.

Stop kicking the dog and move away from the panic button. Now! We could have gone top if only for
an hour or so and we missed our opportunity to do so. But we dominated the game and lost to the
only chance they had in the second half. A performance in the classic Tottenham mode then: stylish
at times, lethargic at times, enough chances to win easily and enough bad luck with injuries and
goal

it's not entirely his fault.. seriously.
When you're playing against a team like Stoke; who throw every single limb they have at the ball
at any given time; a flair(ish) side like ours has to be sure of two things. The first of these is
that you're making enough space to force your style of play upon them; rather than allow them to
dictate the game through simply clipping your heels and forcing the run of play.

£80million
Right so; two players left two teams from the EPL for hotter climes this season; which have
neutered two sides. Xabi Alonso was the first and now Liverpool find themselves at a loss to
explain what it is exactly Lucas brings to the side. With two forgettable wingers, (although I do
rate Riera at times) Stevie G finds himself clipping his fangs; meandering around the centre circle
for 80mins.

There's no football.Time to take stock and indulge the missis, make of that whatever you like but
it usually involves Morrison's these days. I was going to follow the cricket or the tennis but it
seems we are being thrashed by the Australians in the first and there is not one English player in
the top 100 in the second so perhaps I won't bother.

After the fourth gameweek there are still 3 teams that continue with a nice looking table, only
wins. Chelsea, Tottenham and Man City are yet to experience the bitter taste of defeat as Bolton
and Portsmouth still wait for their first taste of victory. Chelsea took the most convincing win of
the week, as it beat Burnley 3-0.

We're heading towards the 4th gameweek of the Fantasy Premier League soccer manager game. Again,
there are soccer matches that look easier to some teams than others. So, time to see who you want
on your team this gameweek.
Here are the fixtures:
Chelsea v Burnley
Blackburn v West Ham
Bolton v Liverpool
Stoke City v Sunderland
Tottenham v Birmingham
Wolves v Hull City
Man Utd v Arsenal
Portsmouth v Man City
Everton v Wigan
Aston Villa v Fulham
West Ham goes to visit Blackburn and I think they won't be too modest guests.

There has been a fair bit of grumbling since the nominees for the PFA Player of the Year award were
announced, with the list comprising: Edwin Van Der Saar, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Ryan Giggs,
Cristiano Ronaldo (all Manchester United) and Steven Gerrard (Liverpool). So that's five Manchester
United players and Gerrard; I have to admit, I [.

I'm excited, are you excited? Premier League football is back and we don't have to wait as long as
others thanks to Saturdays 12:45 kick-off. I'll be tucking into my breakfast around that time. Mug
of tea in one hand and face stuffed with egg, bacon and toast. The good life. Andy Gray
commentating would complete me.

Another Premier League season is drawing to a close and it is a time for summing up. This league
campaign has been very interesting but there haven't been plenty of new players making the
headlines. This is my Team of the Season in Premiership, but be free to make comments and share
your thoughts on [.

Liverpool would strongly think of recruiting the offensive right midfielder of Tottenham, Aaron
Lennon. 21 years old, the young player would be one of the priorities of Rafael Benitez for the
next season. It is suggested that Liverpool could have sealed the deal in the last transfer window,
by the means of including him somewhat with [.

I'm a bit bored at the moment. There's a slight lull in stories worthy of commentary. Other than
maybe the news that Ledley King could play in the remaining 10 fixtures for Spurs. According to our
oracle of football, Harry Redknapp. This following on from the recent lack of contract talks that
won't be taking place just yet between club and player.

I am beginning to think that now that Harry Redknapp is at Tottenham, a club where he has some
money to spend that he is starting to let it all go to his head. Why in the world would he persist
in bringing back Jermain Defoe, now Pascal Chimbonda, and the latest rumor has him trying to bring
Robbie Keane back to the club.

Modric, Lennon, Bentley, Huddlestone, Bale, Pavlyuchenko, Campbell, Corluka, Woodgate, Gomes, Bent,
and on and on. There are so many fun, exciting young players on the current Spurs side and for me
they are the most exciting team to watch. You don't know if they are going to beat Manchester
United one week or lose to Stoke City the next week.

I'm not sure how I got cast as Scrooge in the Tottenham panto and I take no pleasure in it, but I
still feel the need to ask the question 'Are we making any progress under Harry?' In terms of
league position a little but every time we have the opportunity to climb out of danger we slip up
and slide back down again.

It appears that Tottenham have signed Roman Pavlyuchenko from Spartak Moscow. This is exactly the
move that they need to make, to sign a pure goal-scoring forward to replace Robbie Keane and most
likely also Dimitar Berbatov. Pavlyuchenko showed at Euro 2008 that he is a player with a lot of
ability, who can lead the front line and he should be a real star for Spurs and in the Premier
League.

As its been said many times "football is a funny old game". So now we have David Bentley
moving to Spurs with money raised from the sale of Robbie Keane to Liverpool. At the same time we
also have Tottenham with 2 highly rated young right midfield / wings in David Bentley and Aaron
Lennon, but needing another forward to replace Keane and/or possibly Berbatov, and at Liverpool we
have 3 quality forwards in Torres, Kuyt, and Keane, but needing a right midfield / wing of a higher
quality then what they currently have.

There have been swirling murmurs of discontent at White Hart Lane recently - over winger Aaron

progressing as he should, he still has that blistering pace but people are still waiting for his

Both final spots in this year's Carling Cup are still up for grabs, as neither Arsenal nor
Tottenham grabbed a decisive victory at the Emirates today. Chelsea are up 2-1 against Everton in
the other semifinal, but will still face a tough away game at Goodison park before advancing to the
finals.
Tottenham looked set to win today's entertaining encounter against their greatest rivals for the
first time in eight years, after going up 1-0 in the first half thanks to Jermaine Jenas.

Arsenal have begun the season well, coming into our 5th match tied on points with leaders
Liverpool, despite having played a game less than Tottenham, Chelsea, and last years Barclay's
Premier League champions, Manchester United. The only 2 points that Arsenal have dropped were due
to an error from Jens Lehmann against Blackburn, and otherwise Arsenal have beaten Fulham,
