Boro bounce back at Forest Green

After the disappointment of going out of the FA Cup against Port Vale in midweek, Stevenage bounced back with a good, solid win over Forest Green Rovers. Westley's side began the game 5 points adrift of leaders Oxford United at the top of the Blue Square Premier table and with them beating Barrow at the Kassam Stadium, the 3 points were even more important as Boro try to keep at pace with Oxford in the run up to Christmas.

Pre-Season begins plus news on Youth Cup draw

Last Sunday saw the Boro players begin their preparations for the season ahead just 6 weeks after winning the FA Trophy Final at Wembley. They couldn't of planned their return to training at a worse time with it being the hottest week of the year so far. Hardly the best conditions to get your fitness back in?
