Nothing beats knocking a Premier League side out of the FA Cup when you are a lower league side.
Brighton did that by knocking out Newcastle 1-0 over the weekend. The fun of the Cup was shown by
Brighton's Adam El-Abd as he dances with an FA Cup mascot after the win. This is my favorite moment
of the weekend.
Arsenal On The Up. Fantastic F.A. Cup Tie by Lorenzo Sallows Drawn against another Premier League
side and coming after a torrid spell of form, emotions were sure to run high. The match did not
disappoint. I have been more than negative in my approach to Arsenal these past few weeks but, like
all fans, [.
It must be hard being a manager when you have said the lads will put up a good performance after
the Fulham disaster, and then we lose to a lower league side in the FA Cup. Alan Pardew it was a
bit galling And it's not gone unnoticed that's for the second year in a row Newcastle have been
eliminated [.

Manchester City spent more than any other Premier League side on agents' fees over the past year
with £9.66m going to player representatives.
The Premier League has announced what each of its club spent on agents' fees. Demba Ba wonder how
much his agent fee was? And of course Manchester City spent more than any other Premier League side
over the last year with £9.66M going to representative of the players, which is now obviously a
lucrative [.
It wasn't really surprising when it was announced that Steve Bruce has been sacked by
Sunderland. Steve Bruce with Alan Pardew After watching the Sunderland game over the weekend
against Wigan, Sunderland found a way to lose in the last minute of added time, through comical
mistakes made by their defense.

The offseason news has been coming along pretty quickly the past day or two. Like last year, Teal

going to apparently go train with Bolton.
Bunbury's supposed to spend two weeks in December with the Greater Manchester club.

I think it's fair to say that Josh McEachran's minutes on the pitch in the first team this season
have been limited to say the least. I fully expect McEachran to play tonight against Everton away
in the League Cup but, as seemingly the case this season, a return to the bench for the Arsenal on
Saturday.
What was missed a little yesterday was the draw for the 4th round of the Carling Cup, when
Newcastle were drawn away, for the third time running, this time to Blackburn Rovers. Things are
looking up at Newcastle under Alan Pardew And while we could have had a home draw against a lower
league side, Newcastle could also [.
Vietnam Football is reporting that former Persiba striker Fortune Udo is presently trying his luck
with V League side Binh Duong. Fortune hit 34 goals last season helping Persiba Bantul earn
promotion to the ISL.
This story however suggests Fortune is happy to stay with Persiba!
Newcastle United's 2-0 friendly win over Darlington was marred by a crowd invasion and
violence in disgusting scenes, which held up the game for over 10 minutes. The Premier
League side will take appropriate action against the aggrevators with a life time ban while Police

Dario Conca, Dario...Conca, struggling to place the name? Allow us to refresh your memory.
Despite no-one really knowing who the bloody bejesus he is, Conca is now the third highest-paid
player in world football (behind the 'big two', Messi and Ron) courtesy of Chinese Super League
side Guangzhou Evergrande, who snapped him up on a mammoth contract from Fluminese a week or so
ago.
Rennes midfielder Sylvain Marveaux has underlined that his transfer to Liverpool fell through

The former France Under-21 international appeared set to sign for Liverpool on a free transfer from

Rumour has it Newcastle United are after Dimitar Berbatov, although personally I think that's a
load of codswallop. The Sun is allegedly the source of the rumour that Berbatov wants to come to
Newcastle after being left out of Manchester United's Champions League side that lost to Barcelona
on the weekend.
Liverpool will begin its attempts to dethrone Manchester United with a summer move for Dennis
Praet.
The 16-year-old Anderlecht midfielder, who celebrates his 17th birthday on Saturday, is one of the
most exciting prospects in Belgian football and is set to be the subject of a bidding war in the
summer.
It is being reported locally that struggling Indonesia Super League side Persiba Balikpapan have
sacked their Philippine international midfielder Jason de Jong despite only signing him in
February. It is said that De Jong refused to fly to Papua for a couple of games there saying he was
injured. He also got upset when he was substituted against Arema.
Reports from Italy suggest Juventus have run into competition from Liverpool in their pursuit of
Lyon's flying Brazilian left back Michel Bastos.
Both the Reds and the Old Lady are looking for a quality left back option for next season, and
though Juventus have been surprised by the late arrival of the Premier League side on the scene,
they will still battle for the Brazilian's signature.
3 first half Stoke goals were enough to see the Premier League side easily

When United are your local team, whilst you're obviously always aware of the size of it
globally, it takes weekends like this to remind you of just how massive this club is.
Watching the reaction of the Crawley fans seeing their team get drawn against United was great
viewing. It makes you realise that as a United fan, there are certain things you'll never get to

Here is the email that started making the round this morning concerning the state of things at
Everton. I'm not speaking to it's validity, but it's worth reading and discussing at the very
least. We'll have to see how things play out.
The timing is convenient considering the horrible transfer window Everton had and you can probably
makes arguments for and against each point, so don't take this is absolute fact.

Almost as if in response to the post measuring his "effectiveness", Chicharito strikes yet again
to secure our passage into the next round. The scoreline doesn't even begin to tell the story of
how poor we were for the first 45-60 minutes prior to the 2 substitutions that changed the
complexion and fate of the tie.
