Fearless Europa League Predictions - Round of Sixteen

World Club Rankings 10 March @ 04:44 PM EDT

Okay, it's time for more of my fearless Euorpa League predictions. Why fearless? Because, really, what are you going to do to me if I'm wrong. And I'm wrong about half the time in this tournament. Monday Premier League Roundup in 232 Characters

EPL Talk 29 December @ 04:23 AM EDT

Because Twitter won't let me post more than 140 characters, here are my thoughts about the Premier League matches I watched on television Monday:

On Tuesday we published Part I of our Premier League Predictions: Revisited column covering 2008, and here's part II - covering 2009.
The Good:
"De Jong Not Worth It, No goals assists or bonus, Just Like Nicky Butt." A spot on haiku about the massively overpaid Dutchman. De Jong failed to impress after a January transfer move from Hamburg. Click to continue reading...

WCR Champions League Predictions - Championship Edition

World Club Rankings 26 May @ 11:00 AM EDT
First off, let me just say how happy I am that the UEFA Cup tournament finally is over. Prediction-wise, that tournament is a crap shoot given the different motivations that each participating club has in that tournament as opposed to each club's own domestic motivations.
Much easier to predict are the meaningful continental championships like the UEFA Champions League and the Copa Libertadores. Click to continue reading...

UEFA Cup Final Prediction

Following a 4-12 start to the knockout stages, we came back with our best round with a 6-2 record in the second knockout stage. Click to continue reading...
