Se está disputando la cuarta edición de la Concacaf Liga Campeones. Se clasificaron ocho equipos directos a la fase de grupos (dos de los Estados Unidos, dos de México, y uno de Costa Rica, Panamá, Guatemala, y Honduras), mientras que 16 equipos jugaron una fase previa de clasificación. Se le concedieron 3 cupos a Honduras ya que el campeón de Belice, Belize Defence Force, no cumplió los requisitos de la Concacaf.

Another update on former Wizards. Nothing big player news wise, but an interesting quote from Aberdeen's coach in response to rumors of Eddie Johnson moving to the club. The tough part will be traveling back from Russia for the home game against the Colorado Rapids Friday, Sept. 9.

Keane has described these games as "massive" and reiterated he's "100 percent committed to Ireland - when he's not with the Galaxy:
