La Liga: FC Barcelona vs Real Mallorca, Camp Nou, Saturday, November 7 2009, 20:00 CET

Barcelista 07 November @ 10:45 AM EST
After the team's run of poor results lately, we're really looking to this match for a boost. Barca leads the Liga with a single shaky point, and we can't afford anything less than a win if we are to keep our first place position.
But we have a feeling this match will be a turnaround point for the boys, and they'll go back to their winning ways. Click to continue reading...

LLTO Picks of the Week

La Liga Report 07 November @ 06:04 AM EST

Barcelona and Russia Do NOT Mix

La Liga Report 05 November @ 08:44 AM EST

At least Barca drew with Rubin Kazan this time, but in no way did they impress. Something about Champion's League play has the boys from the shore playing snake-bitten...and I think I know what it is.

Take a look at the crew from Barcelona and answer me one question. Even though they are the reigning European Champions (and have a huge bullseye on their backs) do you think they kind of expect to be in the Final 16?

Spain might lose its advantage

Dirty Tackle 03 November @ 07:24 PM EST

The rise of La Liga and its increasing appeal to foreign players can be attributed to more than just Real Madrid spending money like a teenage girl with a trust fund. Everyone agrees that the "Beckham Law", which allows footballers to pay almost half the taxes that normal people do, has been a big draw, especially as the tax rate has risen in the UK.
