With all three of Rangers' Americans starting against Inverness, it was the defender getting the
goal. Carlos Bocanegra opened the scoring in the 55th minute from the run of play, with Inverness
equalizing 12 minutes later. Kyle Lafferty broke that deadlock in the 83rd minute. Lafferty subbed
on for Alejandro Bedoya in the 52nd minute.
Liverpool goalkeeper Alexander Doni suffered a dislocated finger in Tuesday's friendly defeat to
Rangers.
The 31-year-old summer signing from Roma was making a rare appearance for Kenny Dalglish's team in
the Ibrox fixture.
Doni was also one of Liverpool's standout performers on a forgettable night for the Reds, but he
had to be substituted after sustaining his injury when saving a Kyle Lafferty shot in the second
half.
Lee McCulloch grabbed the only goal of the game as Rangers claimed victory over Liverpool in a
friendly at Ibrox.
Both sides used the fixture to give game time to players who have not featured as regularly as
others so far in their respective domestic campaigns.
Skipper David Weir made only his second appearance of the season for Rangers after spending the
early part of the campaign sidelined through injury, while Matt McKay was handed his first start.

Some wag (me) suggested on Twitter last night that this would have been a more effective Beattie to
play up front for Rangers.
Not that it mattered as the home side - who were more than happy to dish out a few brutal
challenges - overpowered a fairly ineffective Kilmarnock.
