The real issue with Mario Balotelli isn't his 'swag', abrasive nature or
arrogance for that matter. The real issue with Mario these days is that he's
turning into the Lady Gaga of football. Of course, the issue of kicking
Scott Parker in the head yesterday (in City's 3-2 defeat of Spurs) isn't something
that should surprise you at all.
The end of the year is here, and it's time for you to draw up your own Player XI list! Who has
made your starting line-up? Here's Futbolita's Team of 2011, including our six substitutes (because
you never know who could get injured from all that paella or partying!) We've also included the
super Robin van Persie, Kun Aguero, and Nemanja Vidic in our team.
If you didn't see the Chelsea v Fulham match yesterday, it was a 1-1 tie. Amobi Okugo sums it up
well on the twitter.
The Red Bulls continue to insist they will embrace another MLS team in the Big Apple. It's going
to be lonely playing in front of 1,500 people in Harrison in 2014.
Alex Morgan is one of Scott French's best stories of 2011.
Happy Boxing Day! To start off this marvelous day, here's Mario Balotelli's
specially designed Christmas cake complete with an evil looking Santa Claus (is that a
knife on good ol' Noel Noel?!) You see, Manchester City came up with a
pretty brilliant idea where they got players to compete for the title of 'Best Christmas
Cake Decorator'.
It's Christmas week... la semana de Navidad! In the Premiership,
however, life goes on for Kun Aguero and co', who scored in City's 3-0 victory
over Aston Villa last night. Kun scored a brace, and the goal celebrations had
everything except Dani Alves' brilliant Santa hat.
There was a rumour a few months ago that Kun Aguero was planning to tattoo his entire shoulder
and back - well, he's still pretty clean there!/ via AP Photo

Kun Aguero is a nice guy and all that, but none of you knew he could tie his
hair up in a bun, did you? Jajaja, el sombrero se ve raro .
Feliz Martes! The FIFA Ballon d'Or preliminary list
of 23 men has been finalised and although the final 3 names will be announced on December 5th, you
have an entire month to gloss over this. There haven't been many surprises and we've highlighted
whom we think will probably and predictably make the cut based on the votes and if it doesn't work
out, they can still make this into a Ballon d'Or reality TV show!
I think nobody was expecting Manchester City to win 6-1 against their local rivals, Manchester
United in today's derby in Manchester. It was a strange match, which at the score 3-1 for City, the
Reds basically gave up and let Manchester City's awesome striking force with Kun Aguero, David
Silva and Edin Dzeko, have a field day.
- Ah, did we get your Krispy attention?! It's going to be a super exciting football weekend with
the Manchester derby tomorrow as well as Valencia/Bilbao and Real Madrid/
Malaga in Spain! Interestingly, Manchester City have only won
once at Old Trafford since 1974 under Sven-Goran Eriksson in 2008 and Kun
Aguero and the Polecats will be looking to change that tomorrow when they face the King of
Donuts, David de Gea.
FELIZ MARTES!! The Champions League finally returns today and you'd
better believe that Roberto Mancini loves David Silva as much as
the Valencianos still do! There's nothing quite like some hair affection at a press
conference and naturally, they picked David to face the Spanish media ahead of the
City-Villarreal clash tonight.
Here's Kun Aguero and Tevez, clearly excited that the Champions League is
finally upon us again! Everything about the competition except for the name 'Michel Platini' is
incredibly thrilling anyway. At the top of everyone's minds today will inevitably be the
Bayern Munich-Man City Group A fixture, where we can imagine City being favourites
to pull off an upset victory.
VIVA VALENCIA! The city must be celebrating their 2-2 draw against
Barcelona last night ("I told you so" messages from Valencian friends are on the way). Of course,
the popular hero of the hour was deemed to be Cesc Fabregas for saving Barca but
it's time to give credit where it's due to Los Che, who were 10 men down and stuck till
the end.
Ducky's Note: Much like Torres' drought, BigFourZa has been suffering a
lack of Chelsea contributions, putting the very name of our site at risk. Much like Torres' goal
at OT, Sushajith has stepped up and broken the 27-month drought in BFZ's blue
corner. Much like Torres' later miss in the same game.
The Guardian's Gallery is, by and large, brilliant. But every now and again, someone ascends to
the levels of the masters before them. This is one such case, via the Kun Aguero lineage of
recent.
Real genius, if only because Diego was chosen as the clothed one.
These are exciting times to be supporters of either Manchester United or Manchester City. The two
Manchester clubs are currently slugging it out at the top of the Premiership. Whatever City can do
with their expensively assembled superstars, United are outdoing them with their expensively
acquired youngsters!
I had the TV on this morning over breakfast. They had one of those XFL (Xenophobe Football League)
a.k.a. English Premier League talk shows.
. The presenters / pundits had a question of the day (for callers / viewers / etc. to answer to
reply to them via e-mail, twitter and on facebook): . "Is Wayne Rooney now as Good as Lionel Messi
and Cristiano Ronaldo?
(´19).

Now it's time for your requisite story about Sergio "Kun" Agüero and Manchester City, who around
4:48 Eastern Time on Monday was arguably the biggest thing to ever happen to England. Ever. Winston
Churchill? Pfft. Did he ever score two goals against Swansea City? Didn't think so. In essence,
Agüero's Premier League debut was so life-affirming people across Manchester -- nay, around the
world -
Rare am I for the Premiership during the week, but yesterday's game between Manchester City and
Swansea City had an appealing feel of, oh I don't know, torture and execution about it heading in.
And who doesn't like a good bludgeoning?
The mighty Welshmen held on for as long as they could, at least until halftime, before
succumbing to Edin Dzeko's lanky-legged goal-scoring ways ruined their Cinderella parade.
What a fantastic hit by new Manchester City signing Sergio Aguero. He scored 2 goals and picked up
an assist in just 30 minutes of action off the bench in yesterday's 4-0 win over Swansea. The new
Carlos Tevez? ... Continue reading →
It was his debut for Man City, and Maradona's 'yerno' did not waste his time scoring a
brace in last night's 4-0 win over Swansea. It's weird not seeing him in Atleti
colours, but we're guessing Kun had been seeing blue (cough *Chelsea*) the whole of last season
anyway.

So it's settled then after months of speculation and his open letter to fans and Atletico's
President, Kun Aguero is a Manchester City player! The deal is said to be worth
(close to) £35million, which is a record for the club (even more than Robinho's!)
One of the longest running transfer sagas of the last few years is finally over. Sergio "Kun"
Aguero is officially a Manchester City player as of today. How does "son-in-law-of-Maradona" fit
into the Citeh squad and more importantly your fantasy team? Here's the rundown: The Player He is
undoubtedly talented.

season off!
Hot off the Spanish press (from the newspaper with reporters who are willing to hold your arms
as you are walking on unstable grass conditions: El Mundo Deportivo) is the news that Kun
Aguero's transfer to Man City will be finalized by Wednesday!
Argentina is out of the 2011 Copa America after losing 5-4 on penalties to Uruguay following a
1-1 draw after 120 minutes.
Diego Perez's early goal was cancelled out by Gonzalo Higuain in an action-packed first half,
but despite chances from both ends, neither side could break the deadlock, ensuring a
nerve-wracking shootout to end proceedings.
The opening match of the 2011 Copa America wasn't the spectacle we were hoping for. On a cold
night in La Plata, with the pitch not in perfect condition, Argentina battled Bolivia to a 1-1
draw. But perhaps the most interesting aspect of the opening match were the goals that were
scored.

At Arsenal next season?
Arsene Wenger has been a long time admirer of the former Lyon striker now at Real.
"His movement is always intelligent, he is able to combine well with other players to make a
difference, and also make individual strikes. So, in my opinion, he is one of the best in the
world.

El momento es ahora.... and Kun Aguero has finally decided that it's
time for him to leave Atletico Madrid for a bigger team. Meanwhile, we're pretty sure
Maradona helped him to write his exit statement. These drama
kings are all the same!
As Spurs face up to the reality that the 2011/12 season will not include a return to the UEFA
Champions League, supporters are left to rue the failure of Harry Redknapp to lure a top striker to
the club in the January transfer window. It certainly wasn't for lack of trying as Fernando
Llorente, Diego Forlan, Kun Aguero and Guiseppe Rossi were all targeted for a switch to White Hart
Lane to beef up Spurs assault on both the domestic and European front.
