Chelsea have signed central midfielder Nemanja Matic from Slovakian club MFK Kosice on a
four-year deal.
The 21-year-old, who has two full Serbia caps, completed his move to Stamford Bridge on Monday in a
deal that is thought to be worth £1.

The number of English Premier League clubs are said to be interested in signing Serbian
Under 21 midfielder Nemanja Matic, who has already spent some time in England
while on trial at Middlesbrough. The creative midfielder impressed the visiting scouts at
the Under 21 Euro in Sweden in Serbia's first match with Italy and it seems that he has

leave Serbia every year. During the 90's, due to the political problems, Serbian players did not
