You may remember, not so very long ago, when the KNVB Cup match between Ajax and Alkmaar had to
be abandoned after just 38 minutes when Alkmaar 'keeper Esteban Alvarado was red-carded (it was
later rescinded) for knocking a drunken pitch-invader on his arse and then belting the living
daylights out of the 19-year old hoodlum as he sprawled on the turf.
For transitional fossil Kenny Dalglish, it is surely time to evolve.
Last nights racist abuse of Tom Adeyemi is purely the fault of the Liverpool Football Club.
Dalglish and his players are heroes to some very very stupid people.
These neuronically moronic pick up mass hysterias that allow them to shroud their inate fear and
weaknesses with the misplaced sense of hyper-power that is racism.
The Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) has decided the cup game between Ajax and Jozy
Altidore's AZ will be replayed on January 19th. The decision comes after the original game was
suspended in the first-half when a fan ran onto the field and charged AZ's goalkeeper Esteban
Alvarado. AZ refused to continue after the referee red carded the keeper for defending himself.
Really, I should have known the KNVB would use any opportunity to take every possible chunk out of
Ajax. Here is the match ruling from last week's AZ cup match debacle, to go with the Esteban
Alvarado red card removal already announced:- Entire game replayed on Jan. 19th- Played at empty
ArenA (oh, and sorry, but no KNVB ticket refunds)- Expected security fine for Ajax- No sanction of
any kind
While also announcing that the referee had acted properly, the KNVB rescinded Estaban Alvarado's
red card. No word yet about the status of the suspended game.- Greg Seltzer
It's been a strange December for Ajax, to say the least. I could do a whole other post on a
wackiness rundown, but let's gather focus and get back into the rubble from last night's suspended
Ajax v AZ cup match.I had a few words to say and you've added in some of yours. Now, let's hear
some morning after comments from the folks involved.
What else is there to say? If you don't know what I'm talking about, here it is from tonight's KNVB
Cup match at Amsterdam ArenA: the hooligan field invasion that spawned the red card to AZ keeper
Estaban Alvarado that made Gertjan pull his team off that saw this contest suspended with Ajax up
1-0 a few minutes before intermission.

The last time Ajax regularly played three at the back, Sandra Bullock was one
of the hottest young actresses in Hollywood with a bright future ahead, and the same could be said
for Ajax who dined at the top of Europe's elite table.

In which Heerenveen forward Oussama Assaida gets pipped by the offside trap during his side's
3-0 Eredivisie win over Groningen at the weekend and runs through, rounds the 'keeper and flicks a
doozy of a trick-shot into the empty net regardless...
I'm sure I wasn't alone in willing Assaida to fall arse-over-tit there.
The violence which has traumatised London for the past four days has led to the
cancellation of several games, including the England v Netherlands international friendly.
With Britain in a daze from the unexpected rioting and looting which has now spread to several
cities, the Football Association had no choice but to cancel Wednesday's Wembley match, with all
available police urgently needed to regain control of the streets.
As London burns, the FA has listened to the police and rightly decided to cancel Wednesday's
friendly at Wembley between England and Holland.
An FA statement read:
"Following the events in Greater London, the FA has this morning held discussions with the
Metropolitan Police, the Government and Brent Council.

Bayern Munich will play Holland in a friendly next year to compensate the German champions for
losing Arjen Robben to an injury aggravated during the World Cup in South Africa. The game will be
played at Bayern's Allianz Arena on May 22, 2012
The Dutch football association (KNVB) and Bayern had been embroiled in a war of words for many
months over Robben, with both sides pointing the finger of blame at the other for the former
Chelsea and Real Madrid winger's injury problems.
EINDHOVEN, Netherlands FC Twente progressed as the top two in the Eredivisie met in the last eight
of the KNVB Beker, securing a 7-6 triumph over PSV Eindhoven in a penalty shootout after the game
had ended 1-1. Midfielder Theo Janssen put Twente ahead from the penalty spot after 70 minutes but
