for the number one seed Benilde-St. Margaret Red Knights (18-0-3) to put pressure on the
Totino-Grace Eagles (14-5-2). Benilde came close several times in the early going and finally in
the 11th minute they took the lead.

The Sunday Times reported yesterday that the team is considering selling shares on the Hong Kong
stock exchange in a move that could potentially raise £1.7bn.
Selling shares via a stock float will allow the Glazers to take money out of the club without
selling the club or adding to the clubs debt.

The Jays have traveled across the State to take on a pair of St Louis powers. First stop,
Incarnate Word, just South of I-70 near UMSL and today St Joe's, near Frontenac. I'll have pictures
from both games on Sunday along with an expanded report.

Coach Annie Beekman was channeling her inner Mourinho in Friday's game, coming out in what I would
describe as a 4-1-4-1, in the hopes of blunting not only Missouri Gatorade Player of the Year Shea
Groom (pictured) up top but also the Jay's quality midfield.
Rumor has it the tournament reached the 120 team mark this year which will draw 4000 plus
players and family to Springfield this weekend. There are games on the Boy's side ranging from U9
up to the U19 category for senior boys headed for college in the Fall. On the Girls side it's U9 up
to U14. The tournament is co-hosted by Total Demize SC who are well represented but I also see
SpringHigh, Springfield SC, Magic, Vehr, Springfield Legends, Rolla Knights, Cobra's, Missouri
Elite FC, Nixa SC, SW MO Cyclones and other regional programs from Columbia, KC, St Louis and
Northwest Arkansas.
Those pesky takeover rumors just won't go away, will they?
The latest round of speculation over Manchester United's present and future has the Qataris
coming back with an offer of 1.5 billion after having an offer of 1 billion rejected by the Glazers
earlier this month.
The twist in these tidbits is that the prospective bidders are considering partnering with the
Red Knights, a step that would do more to endear themselves to the supporters than anything the
Glazers have done in their tenure as owners.
San Diego Sockers fans got a little extra at last weeks game against the Las Vegas Knights. In the
wrong place at the wrong time, an innocent kid gets pegged in the head by a our very own Sockers
overexcited shot. Seemingly unamused, the kid jumps right back up, picks up the ball and goes [...]
