The Dynamo have added another forward/midfielder to the roster, trading a conditional draft pick to the Colorado Rapids for Macoumba Kandji. Kandji is a tall, atheltic forward with good quickness, but he's had his injury struggles the last couple seasons.

It's an inexpensive move for Kinnear to make and makes good sense as Kandji has experience in the league and has shown the ability to score goals and create chances for teammates in the past.

Most of the United States was focused on the "other football" this weekend, but there were still some soccer business stories coming out over the last few days. We'll start with FOX's broadcast of the Manchester United/Chelsea match over the weekend. Once again, the network offered an EPL match over network television via a live broadcast.

Edson Buddle is back in a LA Galaxy uniform. The deal to bring back one of the league's all-time best goal-scorers happened today.

Buddle rejoins the Galaxy after being released from his contract with FC Ingolstadt 04 on Tuesday. Los Angeles maintained his MLS rights following his free transfer to Ingolstadt last January.

The 2012 NHL Draft is still a ways away. It will take place at Consol Energy Center in the city of Pittsburgh starting on July 22nd. However, it's never too early to take a look at the best prospect available for the draft.

While there are a number of international players at the top of the list, there is also quite a bit of domestic talent.

Nic Batum is one of the most exciting small forwards in the NBA to watch. He's huge but he can shoot, run, dunk and play defense. Unfortunately, the Portland Trail Blazers may be without him for a while due to a knee injury.

A few early ones include the two semifinals at Wembley in the early 90's, Wrexham in 92, Linighans late goal to win us the cup in 93, Andy Walker smashing the ball past David Seaman to give Bolton a historic win at Highbury, and getting knocked out by Millwall and Sheffield United in consecutive seasons.

Having already confirmed to miss out the whole season due to a serious knee injury, Lucas Leiva decided to return back in England for his rehabilitation process, leaving Brazil where he previously received treatment.

Lucas revealed that his recovery process is right on schedule and getting back to Liverpool would be much better for him since he can stay close with his teammates and also fans, who have been very supportive during his tough times.

In the 10 or so minutes it took me to update the stupid Silverlight player and get the game to load, I missed the opening 3 goals, which all happened inside the first 7 minutes of the game.

Here are the highlights of the USA vs Dominican Republic CONCACAF Olympics match played in Vancouver, BC. Abby Wambach and Co., made mincemeat of 88th seeded Dominican Republic. Amy Rodriguez scored five, Heather O' Reilly poured in another three as the US Women scored a record 14 goals to nil.

Whilst Nemanja Vidic is still working on coming back from an injury which has ruled him out for the rest of the season, his agent, Silvano Martina, claims there is no way he will be leaving the club in the summer. Vidic's current deal expires in 2014.

For better or worse, much of the early going in the 2011-2012 campaign found itself played under constant comparison to the season gone by.
