See The Cup 12 November @ 05:28 PM EST
I am loving this Adidas new World Cup uniform release craziness. It's lovely to see that they
are making all uniforms very unique. Trend watch: uniforms are getting more tight... nice!!! Here
are Spain, South Africa and Russia's new kits:
Spain new kit: nice, nice.
Russia new kit: awesome.

Go take a trip down memory lane and see how many of these USA jerseys you remember with fondness
(superheroes! Speed Racer! shame about the centered logo)... nausea (to be fair, the 90's boasted
some hideous jerseys, but still)... or pain (ugh,...

IMHO, I think Nike failed this season in producing a wearable training kit (Exhibits 1 and 2) or
tracksuit especially for Manchester United. Camman, United kit-man Albert Morgan looks like the
bee-girl from the Blind Melon's No Rain music video. Sure, this black/white tracksuit looks pretty
smart in the picture but combo it with a pair [.

brutal humidity of late summers in central Pennsylvania, sweating by the bucketload and bathing in

I think Barcelona's kit is timeless and even though they barely make a modification to the
design this season's 80s style cut is perfect and we here at COS Towers are very much fans of the
dark kits and think that Liverpool and Man City's away shirts are top notch.

Like some football fans, I have a pretty good collection of football kits hanging in my closet.
Most of them bought to display my allegiance to United, some just used for training and a handful
acquired as gifts. There are some that has meaning too, like my vNistelrooy shirt that always get
the attention [.

This morning, Lyon announced on their official website that they had terminated their contract
with Noel Soccer and by extension, with Umbro as well (Noel Soccer is the French supplier of
Umbro). I guess this news isn't too surprising, given that Umbro was bought by Nike almost
two years ago.

With promotion to the Premier League, Wolverhampton have also gained a fancy new online gambling
house sponsor to adorn their kits this season. But what's different about this sponsorship is that
for the first time ever, a club with a gambling sponsor will offer a choice of logos on the junior
replica kits they sell either that of the gaming site or that of the Wolves Community Trust, the
club's charity arm, so parents actually have the option of whether they want their kids to be a
human billboard for something that will probably have them taking out ill-advised loans at some
point in their life.

THE Perth Glory away kit has been revealed on the club's online store.
While the club's home kit, a purple and white striped shirt, was great mostly with praise, the away
is somewhat deriverate.
But what do you think?

Addidas have come up with yet another really cool kit design, for Liverpool FC.
It's certainly not a patch on our awesome new Phantom black away kit. But it's still a quality
kit.

Once again, Lyon have an entirely new set of kits this season. While the official presentation
of the new kits won't be until the end of July, Umbro has released a really nice teaser that gives
us a good idea of what they look like. (scroll down to the bottom for more pictures)

The home jersey, in white, has changed the slightest, with the stripes going horizontal instead
of vertical.

So Sir Alex Ferguson has handed Michael Owen the number seven shirt for the upcoming season, which,
even if he does make more signings this summer, puts a fair amount of responsibility on the injury
prone striker's fragile shoulders. What's more, it seems to have riled an already unsettled United
fan base, who in addition [.

Ever wondered how decisions are made at football clubs? Well, most clubs have board of directors
while some clubs have someone like Mike Ashley at the helm to decide things like this abomination,
without a doubt one of the worst kit for the upcoming season. Fortunately, we won't be seeing this
zebra-wearing-a-banana-suit-inspired design in the [.

The above leaked photo is Arsenal's reported away kit for next season (2009/10). Arseblog published
it earlier, but could it be our third jersey after images of a green kit were posted several months
back? Which one would you prefer to buy? I personally think they both look pretty awful, but I'd
probably fork [.

As much of a supporter of the USMNT as I am, it's pretty pathetic that the only show of support my
wardrobe can provide is a tattered old US Soccer t-shirt. And with the big 2-0 Border Smackdown on

I opined a few days ago about the sleek, "adult" look (as opposed to some of the nonsense
that MLS and adidas are foisting upon us) that recent MLS export Michael Parkhurst would be

with a conspicuous bank sponsor on the front might have benefited from a similar design? Not that
I'm completely slagging TFC's attempt (in fact, I'd like the black/gray away look, if it weren't

Since their existence, the Italian national team has always worn "Azzurro",
the shade of blue that is known in the English-speaking world as "Azure Blue".
The color comes from the Royal family of Savoia, and all of Italy's national sports team wear it to
this day. That's where the national team got their nickname, "Gli Azzurri".

And our good friends GoalSeattle naturally have the scoop. Sweet looking kits if you ask us. Kinda
spoils the whole Seattle Kit Unveiling, Celebrity Fashion Show, song and dance thing. We were going
to cover it live but our requests for a press pass went ignored (still mad at us for discovering
and revealing public trademark records for lame Seattle names like Union and Alliance forcing an
uproar and write-in choice no doubt), so we thank Goal Seattle for coming through with the goods
early so you can see what the kits look like before anyone else.
