Project 2010 16 November @ 10:23 PM EST
I'll start this off by saying that I'm not usually one to perpetuate rumors (and this could
easily be a hoax), but we love discussing the USA's jerseys here at Project 2010, so this seemed
relevant. Over at Big Soccer, we saw some mock ups of what might possibly be the jersey the USA
will wear in South Africa, so we thought we'd pass it along.

Now that Argentina has finally secured a spot in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, they can
present the new uniform to be used next year. The new kit is very loyal to past Argentinian shirts
and does a great job of keeping the pajama feel

favorite one to be honest. What do you think?

We're taking a look at the USA men's soccer jerseys of the last 25 or so years, not only to
provide a bit of history, but also as a bit of a refresher before looking toward the future of the
USA's kit. My main complaint about the USA kit is that there's no continuity. Unlike most national
team kits, the design has changed drastically each time adidas or Nike has unveiled their latest
designs.

Another week of Premiership action is now in the books, and Thursday means one thing: it's time

AÂ is for Anelka. Chelsea fans should be counting their lucky stars that both

No, that's not a picture of Peter Crouch from before his move to Spurs, that's new Pompey owner
Sulaiman Al Fahim going all Mike Ashley on everyone and wearing his side's shirt, which appears to
fit him a bit snug around the...everywhere region, as he watched them lose to Man City at Fratton
Park today.

Yesterday's delve into the maniacal madness behind Lorient's new kits brought about a discussion to
some of our favorite kits. And with football desperately trying to work its way into your wallet on
an annual basis, it's not really easy to weed through the thousands and thousands of choices. The
sponsorship contracts typically run for [.

[Third] Oftentimes we attack certain kits with hyperbole for effect. This is not one of those
cases. This is genuinely the most hideous kit I have ever seen, confirmed up by a brief short poll
at The Offside Global Headquarters. So awful it leads to the question: Has anyone refused to sign
with a team based [.

As a football fan of some advanced years there comes a point in your life when you find yourself
pondering some of the quirkier aspects of the game's history. Things like 'When was the last time
Ron Atkinson was a colour other than orange?' or 'Was Bryan Robson born injured?

On the 20th of June 2006 in Cologne, Germany, I was sat high behind the goal in the
RheinEnergieStadion (then called simply 'The FIFA World Cup Stadium') when in the fourth minute, a
figure crumpled to the ground. It was hard to see who it was from my unique vantage point, but the
man sitting to my left immediately turned round and said 'any money it's Owen'.

in the football world. The result? Not that good.

With new kits being unveiled, and some still in speculation this is a tense time for fans. So
far this year we have seen some nice looking kits, and some awful ones. Below is a quick summary of
each Premier League teams new wardrobe.

As you could see from the Rio and Rooney pictures, AIG is still the front shirt sponsor. You
could also see the black V across the chest

Another season of the Premier League is now in the books, and Premiership Talk today celebrates
its first birthday! On June 7, 2008, Premiership Talk was founded, and a year later the site stands
lightyears ahead of its basic roots...although we're still talking about the same things today that
we were a year ago (the Cristiano Ronaldo transfer saga was the very first post on Premiership
Talk).

beginning in the 2010-2011 season. United (in the form of David Gill) have put pen to paper with
Aon Corporation, the world's leading risk adviser and human capital consultant, on a four year deal
believed to be worth £80 million (£20m per season).

With the Premier League over for another season. Here are some of the things I noticed from the
08/09 campaign:
Like a bat out of Hull
Hull City were everyone's favorite to go straight back down this season. They seemed like a
sweet little feel good story, content to have their moment in the big leagues before quickly
sinking back to lower level obscurity where they could be patronized by football and non-football
people alike for sounding like a thoroughly dull and uninspiring place to live.

Back in August 2008, Some People Are On The Pitch wrote one of its most popular articles ever. It
wasn't a lengthy thesis on the things we hate most about Cristiano Ronaldo, nor was it an online
poll asking you for your happiest memories involving Milton Keynes Dons. Somewhat surprisingly, it
was an article listing the kit manufacturers of each of the 92 Premier and Football League teams
for 2008/09.

Some of you remember a couple of months ago when I posted that Puma was planning to kit Italy
with a light blue/brown shorts combo to be worn at this summer's Confederations Cup. Well, Puma has
in fact made the new kit, but it is not as dramatic as we first thought. Puma has decided to
celebrate Italy's glorious past of the 1930's, when the Azzurri were back to back World Cup
champions in 1934 and 1938.
