Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham. Since 2008 AC Milan is facing an English team in the
second round of Uefa Champions League, but in all of these cases they have never managed to pass to
the quarter finals of the most important European torunament for clubs.
Even this year beat Arsen Wenger's team won't be easy as Gunners are not the team they used to
be at the beginning of the season, when, for example, they lost 8-2 at Old Trafford against
Manchester United, in one of the most embarassing matches of the Wenger's era.
According to Kevin Prince Boateng, Arsenal typically chokes when it comes to big games. The
former Spurs defender, who now plays for AC Milan, was quoted by the Mail Online as saying the
Gunners bottle it when it matters. It's hard to argue with him when you look at the London team's
record over the past half-dozen years.
AC Milan
Position 1st, 14-5-4 (47 points, +25 goal differential)
Home Record: 7-3-1, +19 goal differential

Last Meeting: AC Milan 0 Arsenal 2 (March 4, 2008)
Tomorrow brings a trip to one of Europe's great venues to play one of the greatest, if not the
greatest, clubs, historically, in all of European football.
AC Milan's former Tottenham playmaker Kevin Prince Boateng has dismissed the credentials of
Arsenal ahead of tomorrow's Champions League clash at the San Siro, labeling the Gunners as
inconsistent and inexperienced.
Boateng, 24, has been one of Milan's standout players this season and even though the Italian
champions have also shown signs of struggle of late, the Ghana international believes that they
have the experience that Arsenal desperately need.
Good news for Coach Allegri and Milan fans as Alessandro Nesta, Kevin Prince Boateng and Alexa
Pato all resumed training today ahead of their Champions League first leg knockout match against
Arsenal on Wednesday.
With both teams coming off late winners in their weekend league fixtures, it will be interesting
to see how they both approach the game.
AC Milan will be looking to put behind them their disastrous weekend outing when they host
Juventus at the San Siro tonight in the Coppa Italia first leg semi-final. With Juventus also
having settled for a similar barren draw with Siena in the weekend, the match will definitely be an
explosive one.
The rumour mill may continue incessantly as it always does, but, for the time being no players will
be swapping kits. Instead, now is the time for coaches to start preparing their troops, both new
and old, for the business part of the season. It is already February and that mad month of May is

More shocks and surprises are on the cards with match day 3 of AFCON set to begin later on
today. As things stand, co-hosts Equatorial Guinea and Gabon, Ivory Coast, Ghana and Tunisia have
all sealed their places in the next round.
Friday's thriller between Gabon and Morocco that saw the Co-hosts win the game with the last
kick of the ball probably has to be the most entertaining match of the competition thus far.
The latest ITS Wag of The Week is Melissa Satta the underwear model girlfriend of AC Milan
midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng who has recently revealed the former Portsmouth star gets injured
because he has too much sex! Prince Boateng has been hampered by a series of niggling injuries
mainly to his thigh having started just 15 [.
AAAAHHHHHHHH I AM ARTUR BORUC AND THIS IS A LIST OF THINGS THAT MADE ME ANGRY THIS WEEK:
1. WHAT'S GOING ON -- THERE'S SOMETHING GOING ON OVER THERE BUT I CAN'T SEE IT?!?!??!??!?! WHAT
IS IT?!?!??!?!??! WHAT IS GOING ON!?!??!!??!?!?!??! AHHHHHHHH I HOPE IT'S ON THE NEWS LATER!
Ghana 1-0 Botswana by goalsarena2012
Ghana made a jittery start to their ACN campaign overcoming a plucky Botswana through John
Mensah's 25th minute goal. The Black Stars then had to endure without Mensah who was sent off in
the 66th minute for his foul on Jerome Ramatlhakwane.
Goran Stevanovic's squad were at full strength minus Kevin Prince Boateng with World Cup
standouts Asamoah Gyan, Andrew Ayew, and Sulley Muntari present.

Footballers don't half have it hard (nudge, nudge). Kevin-Prince Boateng has had an
injury-blighted season in Serie A so far, making only 11 starts to date, and is currently a doubt
for AC Milan's Champions League tie with Arsenal next Tuesday after suffering a thigh strain last
week.
The underwear model girlfriend of AC Milan star Kevin Prince Boateng reckons she is the reason
behind his injury-ravaged season. Melissa Satta thinks she has done a better job of nobbling the
ex-Spurs and Portsmouth man than even the toughest of Serie A centre-backs. Boateng has started
just 11 Serie A games this season as [.

There are many critics who love bickering about the downward spiral of Italian
football but at least they have the equivalent of a glamorous Oscar
night! Finally, Zlatan Ibrahimovic silenced his entire phone-book of haters last
night and won the title of Serie A's 'Best Player in 2011′ while Edison Cavani's
Udinese were announced 'Best Club'.
It has been an odd week for Milan. From the low that last Sunday's derby loss sank us to, the
club's fortunes rose steadily from one day to the next ending in triumphant fashion with a
convincing 3-0 win over Novara. The loss to the ‘Tinkerman's' Nerazzurri posed serious questions
over Max Allegri's men, from [.
As the curtains draw open for the AFCON tournament, attention will definitely be on a number of
players who are set to retire once a winner is revealed on February 12th.
For many it will mark an end to the golden generation of some of the continent's truly brightest
talents but also the beginning for a new breed of stars who will look to carry on from where their
predecessors left.
Interazionale sprung a big surprise on Sunday night to claim their biggest win of the season with a
1-0 victory in the Milan derby. Both teams entered the fixture in fine form (Milan were unbeaten in
12, Inter had won five in-a-row), but it was the Nerazzurri who prevailed after one of the season's
great stifling performances.

We've come across some potentially juicy stuff relating to the new coupling of Kevin-Prince
Boateng and Melissa Satta, most of which you'll want to read and judge for yourselves.
There's both facts and falsehoods to sift through here, so a bulleted list it is.
The Backstory
- K-P married his long term girlfriend, Jennifer, two days after signing with Tottenham Hotspur
in '07.
I had the same feeling as those thousands of Milan fans at the San Siro on Sunday night who left
their seats early. A feeling of resignation, hopelessness and defeat even before the final whistle
was sounded. It was by no means the worst Milan performance ever, but, it was far from the best. We

Inter's slender 1-0 victory over their city rivals Milan last night threw them back in the title
race. A 65th minute goal from Diego Milito was enough to hand Claudio Ranieri's men win the 204th
edition of the Derby Della Madonnina.
Juventus who were level on points with Milan before last night's round of fixtures also failed
to make most of their match against Cagliari as they were held to a 1 all draw at the Juventus
stadium.
AC Milan were the better attacking team and should have been deserving winners but the crossbar
came to Inter's rescue. Soccer is cruel. Javier Zanetti proving at the age of 38 years he has a
full tank of gas busts down the right and then diagonals all the way towards the direction of Diego
Milito.
Thierry Henry marked his return to Arsenal with a goal as Arsene Wenger's progressed to the FA Cup
4th Round thanks to a 1-0 win over Leeds United. In his first Arsenal match since 2007 after
leaving the club to join Barcelona and MLS Side New York Red Bulls, Henry gave the entire Emirates
Stadium [.
The Christmas break is over. This can only mean one thing: it's now time to put down the
panettone and get back to calcio! The Serie A season resumed this weekend – and no
holiday hangovers here; there was no shortage of action!
Perhaps still recovering from jet-setting-induced jet lag, Milan and Juventus, the league's
joint leaders, both seemed to be struggling to get back into the swing of things with difficult
wins against Atalanta and Lecce, respectively, on Sunday.
A penalty by Zlatan Ibrahimovic and a late strike by Kevin Prince Boateng gave AC Milan a 2-0 win
over Atlanta to keep them joint top of Serie A with Juventus. Ibrahimovic converted a 22nd minute
penalty after Alexandre Pato had been felled in the area, and then turned provider for Kevin-Prince
Boateng, who side-footed [.
Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard scored from his own half against Bolton but was unable to prevent the
Toffees slumping to a 2-1 home defeat. Howard casually received the ball inside his box before
launching a down-the-pitch-punt hurtling towards the Bolton goal. A rather surprised (and frankly
clumsy) Adam Bogdan could only scamper backwards as the [.
Here's a shot of AC Milan raising a toast to one another in Dubai during a boat
dinner party last night- although not everyone seems interested. This is where you need to bring in
some David Luiz craziness because he turns everything
into a party and even the classiest and broodiest Italian stallions on the table will want to be
part of that super cool group!
Clearly, football's former feuding "Brothers At War" Kevin-Prince Boateng (plays for Ghana) and
his brother, Jerome (plays for Germany) have called a truce! Here they are enjoying a summer
holidaying in Miami before AC Milan's training camp kicks off on January 2 (Photos via Bild)

Jamie Trecker of Fox Soccer traveled to London and sat down for a video interview with Clint
Dempsey.
-There really isn't anything new here for us diehards, but its great to see the words come out of
Clint's mouth. What a talent!
-More great stuff with Clint and members of his family.
Yaya Toure was named the CAF Player of the Year for being awesome in 2011, and rightly so.
Possibly for his sartorial abilities.
Actually, he showed up in different dress, which makes one think that massive robe is a prize
for winning the prize. A prize which immediately turns its wearer into a spiritual healer?
AC Milan recently held a Christmas party (of course, 'Natale'
is incredibly important for the land of the Pope!) where players, coaches, staff and sponsors were
invited to mingle, eat cheese and look bloody fabulous. Everyone needs to take a leaf out of these
smoldering Italians' books.
Nigerian defender Festus Baise scored a scorpion kick and perhaps the greatest ever own goal during
Sun Hei SC's 3-2 defeat to Citizen AA in the Hong Kong first division. Is this the finest ever goal
you will see? That is, the finest ever OWN goal you will see? Poor Festus Baise. The nippy
Nigerian's [.
The last time Milan entertained Siena before the Tuscans' visit to the Giuseppe Meazza on Saturday
night was on January 17, 2010. That was the game that Ronaldinho, for me, showed his best in the
red and black. A superb hat-trick, one from the spot, one off his head and an absolute
wonder-strike in the [.
AC Milan moved to the top of Serie A after a comfortable 2-0 win over Siena thanks to second half
goals by Antonio Nocerino and a penalty by Zlatan Ibrahimovic. After struggling to break through a
painfully defensive Siena backline in the opening 45 minutes, it was Milan midfielder Antonio
Nocerino who shot the hosts ahead [.
Antonio Nocerino and Zlatan Ibrahimović were on target as AC Milan went top of Serie A by
beating Siena 2-0 at San Siro.
Nocerino drove the Rossoneri in front with a low shot through a crowded penalty area nine
minutes into the second half. Ibrahimović confirmed victory with a powerfully-struck penalty,
awarded after goalkeeper Željko Brkić brought down Kevin-Prince Boateng.

Clarence Seedorf give the salute after scoring against Bologna at the weekend. Although most of us
you missed this contest are only hearing of an official controversy with bad calls, no calls and
missed calls, the elder rossonero can't be denied. The Milan midfielder receiving a cross from
Kevin-Prince Boateng drifted inside his defender unleashing an unstoppable shot from outside the
box.
We've got a hearty helping of news you can use (plus a bonus blind item from the weekend) to get
your Mondays off to an highly unproductive start.
Glad we could be of assistance.

Last sixteen of the UEFA Champions League? Say word.
I reckon that's a Luis Suarez (a couple middle fingers) to all our detractors. Tell me you don't
agree. But, now that we've booked our place in the knockout stages of the competition, we need to
look ahead to our possible opposition in the opening round.
The In The Stands goal of the week comes from Marseille winger Mathieu Valbuena after his screamer
against Borussia Dortmund sealed a 3-2 win for the French giants. Marseille came from 2-0 down to
bag an unlikely 3-2 win with Mathieu Valbuena grabbing the headlines after his injury-time belter,
thus earning himself the moniker 'Mr [.
