A group of Cologne fans hijacked the Podbielskiallee in Berlin-Dahlem to honor their icon.

Not that Lukas Podolski's performance against Hertha as such warranted naming a street after him, but it was part of a bigger picture. One that could ultimately lead us to world peace.

And so Arsenal's pre-season continues tomorrow with with a pre-season match-up with FC Cologne (or Koln for the German speaking fans). Arsenal have been training in Germany and this game will single the end to "phase one' of their pre-season training.

Now the reason why Arsenal are playing a friendly versus Cologne is not evident as we have had virtually no dealing with the club in the past.

The New York Red Bulls midfielder highlights manager Stephen Hart's roster for the CONCACAF Gold Cup, along with five other MLS players. Attacking talent Simeon Jackson, who spearheaded Norwich City's promotion to the English Premier League also made the cut for Canada, which will open the Gold Cup against the United States on June 7 in Detroit.
