Josue Martinez has officially joined the Philadelphia Union on a transfer, according to a press
release on the team's website. As per Union official policy, the club will not release the terms of
either Martinez's contract or the transfer itself.
Martinez had been linked multiple times to the Union over the course of the last six months,
particularly throughout late Novemember and into December.
The Philadelphia Union have been linked to Michael Thurk again, this time with the team being
listed as one of the German's two front runners for his services. Thurk's agent, Klaus Gerster,
said that Thurk will make a decision this week, with both the Union and fellow MLS team the
Vancouver Whitecaps as the forward's favored destinations.
There are many cool things in the world, but I think it's safe to say that none are as cool as
this graph of the Philadelphia Union's pass attempts and accuracy that the Tumblr blog
Propagandarama put together from the stats PSP's Ed Farnsworth compiled. For those who like to
analyze trends in graphs, here is some more info.
At last! What every Red Bulls fan has been waiting for, and just in time for the Holidays! Yep, the
new home kit is out and it's pretty nice, if I do say so myself. It almost replicates the design of
last year's stunning away kit, except the 2012 home version has a v-neck and also sports a subtle
pinstripe stitch.
