The MLS All-Star First XI was announced on Monday, and as expected, Seattle led the way withÂ
selections, only not as many might have thought.
Kasey Keller and Freddie Ljungberg were named to the MLS All-Star First XI in their first
seasons in the league. Voted on by fans, players and media, the MLS All-Star First XI is the group
of players who received the most votes, but isn't necessarily the group that will start against
Everton at the All-Star Game at Rio Tinto Stadium on July 29th.

The city of Seattle is inching ever so close to an expansion team according to the Seattle Times.
"There's pretty high-level conversations going on right now about MLS," (Sounders managing partner
Adrian) Hanauer said earlier Tuesday on KJR radio about MLS expansion to Seattle. "There's a lot of
progress being made and lot of conversations happening.

It always sucks to come to a sad realization when you figure out that you can no longer do what it
is you love. My grandfather had a really hard time accepting that right before he died, he was no
longer capable of driving, his reflexes were just too slow to handle a car. It was hard for most of
my family to watch him try and drive, and it was even harder once he recognized his situation.
