Thierry Henry now says that a replay would be the fair thing, but FIFA won't have any of it. Roy
Keane thinks FAI should drop the cause and move on, and France's coach Raymond Domenech seems just
happy to have qualified.
The KC Star got in on the act today, as Matt Schofield chimes in on the story, laying out the
details for those who haven't yet heard of them and offering a modern-day morality lesson.

There's all kinds of MLS and soccer lovin' going around this morning in our fine land. Devin
Barclay, now a rock star on Ohio State's campus, played parts of five seasons in MLS from
2001-2005. He suited up for Tampa Bay, San Jose, D.C. United and the Columbus Crew before hanging
up the cleats and--eventually--picking up some other cleats.

The playoff scenarios are mind-boggling.
It is actually possible for United to find its way into the MLS Cup playoffs regardless of win,
loss or draw tonight, but the likelihood is very slim if the Black-and-Red come away with anything
but a victory in Kansas City. The Wizards cannot make it to the post-season, but will certainly
come out hoping to put on a show for their fans in the last home game of the year.

In a battle of teams sitting at the bottom of the Eastern Conference the Wizards made the most
of a huge Jorge Rojas mistake to score the only goal in a game where the winning team just made one
less mistake than the loser.
A Josh Wolff goal that came off a Claudio Lopez breakaway rebound allowed the Wizards to come
home with 6 points out of a possible 9 in this 3 game East coast swing.

United kicks off its five game homestand tonight by taking on the Kansas City Wizards (7:30 p.m.
ET, Comcast SportsNet HD). The playoff picture right now is a little messy, but a few wins over the
five games at RFK Stadium will go a long way towards securing a spot in the post-season.
As you likely know, the team will be without Marc Burch (ankle surgery on Sunday) and Dejan
Jakovic (bi-lateral hernia repair) for the next 2-3 weeks.
