next year's first division were taken. The clubs promoted are Guarani, Ceara and Atletico- GO. The

In the end of the year when all is summed up, Kaka will be the biggest loser. When we wrote that
Real will realize the sad truth that ‘galacticos 2' will be even a bigger farce than the
first version of Perez's team, many thought we were wrong.
As soon as Real came across few serious rivals, things fell into place as making the team by
spending €100 million because of someone's ego is simply not how things are done.

Mark Hughes will make another audacious bid to prise Fernando Torres away from Anfield if
Manchester City replace Liverpool in the Premier League's so-called Big Four this season.
Manchester City had a £70million offer for Spain striker Fernando Torres rejected last summer but
will go back for him if they qualify for the Champions League for the first time.

For those of you who think my Jenas-bashing is sounding like a broken record, I am proud to
announce that this week I come to praise the man, not than bury him. Well alright, "praise" might
be a little strong, but this is at least intended to be a mite more constructive than the usual
tirade.
The sight of our hero lining up for England against Brazil last week may have been a touch
bewildering (on the basis of which games exactly did Don Fabio make that particular selection?

The following list of elite midfield players in the world will exclude the likes of Lionel
Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka since they sometimes play as forwards or as support strikers
depending on the strategy deployed by their team. Kaka has previously played as a second striker
during his spell with Milan while both Messi and Ronaldo have played in various attacking positions
for their club (mostly on the wing though).

After the World Cup he says he's done.
"I cannot play when I am 50."
I thought he would. Though he's only 33, and I've been under the impression that he's been in his
40s for a while now.

Its no news that Liverpool is preforming quite horrid at the moment, sitting in 7th place, 11
points behind Chelsea. With the combination of poor form and the plague of injuries that seem to be
following the lads over at Anfield, we can only ask come January who will help aid these
wounds.

This 24 year old Brazilian native is the perfect item to fill the whole left by the exit of Xabi

Although Real Madrid needed five goals to overturn their Round of 32 tie with Alcorcón, a
certain sense of denial was important in this particular situation so that they could believe that
their task was not impossible. Kaká stated, "For the pride and for the history of Real Madrid,

All that talk of righting the ship turned out to be bluster as in the Copa Del Rey return leg
against Alcorcon at the Bernabeu, Real was able to muster only one goal through Rafel Van Der

Kaka, and Lassana Diarra.

AC Milan weren't the busiest in the summer transfer window with many of their targets not
getting released from their clubs. After Kaka left the club it was expected that Milan would use
the money received to reinvest in players and strengthen the squad but the biggest name player to
sign was Klass-Jan Huntelar who has failed to score for the club and has received very little
playing time since his move from Real Madrid in the summer.

Diego Perotti has been called up in a last minute request to Sevilla for
Argentina's friendly with Spain this Saturday. As soon as Maradona realized that Jonas Gutierrez &
El Kun Aguerro would not be available he made the

old Perotti. It appears Maradonna has had his eye on Perotti since the beginning of the Season
which doesn't surprise me given that Perotti has been a outstanding asset with his 2 goals, 1

Does God care about soccer? There are certainly a good number of players, fans, and teams who

What a great show the tifosi put on last night! Perhaps they couldn't
all contain their whistles when Ricky got hold of the ball, but they certainly
