Mutu Owes Chelsea €17.17 Million. Does That Seem Fair?

It wasn't widely report at the time, but back in June FIFA decided that Adrian Mutu owed Chelsea €12 million (£9.6 million) compensation. Why? Juventus marked its return to the European Champions League after an enforced two-year absence with a stylish 4-0 win over Slovakia's Artmedia on Wednesday night. Juventus 4-0 Artmedia: A Walk in the Turin Park… (UEFA Champions League Preliminary Round)

1
And you thought that Fiorentina's return to Europe was a good one... The Juventino in me can't help but grab this opportunity to say that whatever La Viola do well, the Bianconeri seem to do better. Ok that was a cheap shot and also completely gratuitous: different teams, different opponents, different levels of preparation. Click to continue reading...

Flamini's replacement: Gokhan Inler?

0

Wenger has made signing a central midfielder to complement Cesc Fabregas a priority. With Flamini's departure, the team has a huge void to fill. His successful partnership with Fabregas in midfield was the salient feature of Arsenal's matchplay.
