South Korea 2 – 0 Senegal

Bolton's Lee Chong–yong assisted Ki Sung-yong in getting on the score sheet in the friendly against Senegal in Seoul. Celtic's Sung–yong took South Korea ahead with a shot from 20 metres a few minutes before half–time.

Plenty of praise for Jussi Jaaskelainen

Jussi Jasskelainen has been with The Wanderers since 1997 when he was signed from Finnish club Vaasan Palloseura by Colin Todd for £100,000. Since then he has proved to be a great ball stopper and has made over 400 appearances for The Wanderers. This Saturday sees Bolton take on Hibs, this fixture is being billed as Jaaskelainenn's testimonial match — a celebration of Jussi's greatness.

Jussi Jasskelainen’s Interview with The Guardian

Jussi Jasskelainen's recent interview with The Guardian's Rob Smyth reveals what we already knew about BWFC goalkeeper and that is that he is an utterly likeable fella.

The only shock that Jussi revealed was a dubious taste in music, admitting to recently buying the chart's top 20 (he also mentions Justin Timberlake).

Finland vs Russia European World Cup Qualifier 10th June

The home side Finland know that a victory over Euro 2008 semi-finalists Russia will take them into the crucial second spot in group four. The two teams look likely to be battling it out for second spot, with European heavyweights Germany top of the group and seemingly all but qualified for the finals.
