The KC Wizards Juniors opened their play in the US Soccer Developmental Academy today outside Houston, as the 16's and 18's both took on Texas Rush AJ Auxerre. Both the 16's and the 18's came away with 1 goal wins over their Texas counterparts. The 16's took took their game against the Rush 1-0. Meanwhile, the 18's twice came from a goal down to win their game 3-2 over the Rush side. Click to continue reading...

Rumour has it, after being introduced recently by Iker "the evil matchmaker" Casillas, they went shopping (sob) and to the movies.

Community breaks World Record in Southend

International arts group METAL - based in Chalkwell Park in Southend - has been awarded the Guinness World Record for the longest line of continuous bunting.

Former La Liga defender Fernando Caceres in grave condition

Former Valencia and Zaragoza defender Fernando Caceres was shot in the head Sunday morning in his homeland of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Caceres remains in grave condition with a bullet wound to the brain. The former Argentina national squad member was the victim of a car jacking and he apparently refused to exit his BMW at the time of the crime.

No doubt this won't be a popular move with the already dwindling FC Dallas fan base. FC Dallas Juniors striker Ruben Luna has been named US Developmental Academy Player of the Year for the U16/15 age group. Luna led the league in scoring with 38 goals in 27 games, that's 48% of his teams goals. Luna also leads all clubs in scoring at Final Week with there goals.
