Down we go to BMO Field for season closer number 5. It qualifies, before the first ball is kicked,
as bittersweet. The win in Dallas on Tuesday night puts TFC past the group stage of the Champion's
League for the first time next spring. They showed that the team can rise to the occasion and win a
big game on the road has to be sweetest point of the year.

crazy win by Colorado while FC Dallas made history down in Mexico. Now could the Canadian end
continue that fantastic momentum to finish off the week?
Toronto FC has endured a rough season under new head coach Aron Winter, but the last-place team
in the Eastern Conference still has playoff aspirations and took a step toward trying to realize
those dreams with a pair of major signings.
TFC announced the signings of German midfielder Torsten Frings and Dutch striker Danny
Koevermans today, making the pair the second and third Designated Players on Toronto's roster,
along with Julian deGuzman.

The Vancouver Whitecaps are 30 minutes away from their first piece of hardware since becoming an
MLS franchise.

the league). Dan Gargan, Ty Harden, Jacob Peterson, and Adrian "Dalek" Cann will have their sights
back on Denver for this weekend's game.
The New York Red Bulls and Los Angeles Galaxy sent clear messages last weekend that they are, in
fact, legitimate championship contenders, and their respective blowout victories were led by four
players who headline this week's SBI MLS Best XI.
Landon Donovan returned to his dominating ways to lead this week's group, while Donovan Ricketts
made some amazing saves to join him.
It's time again for the annual Carolina Challenge Cup. The Toronto FC squad are currently in
Charlston, South Carolina participating in their final preseason tournament before the 2011 season
kicks off. Canadian Andrew Ornoch has also joined up with the team as a trialist.
On Thursday, TFC faced Charlston College in a friendly game before the tournament.
