USA Setup: USA Coach Jurgen Klinnsman set up in a 4-2-3-1 with Michael Bradley as the #10
behind lone striker Edson Buddle. Bradley was not close enough to Buddle, and therefore Edson was
isolated up top. He did however hold up the ball well when given the opportunity, it was just that
his opportunities were few and far between.

The Gold Cup got underway last with a doubleheader in front of a sold-out crowd at the Cowboys
Stadium. The fans got what they came for as they saw ten combined goals and blowout victories by
two of the tournament favorites.
Costa Rica opened the Gold Cup with a 5-0 rout of Cuba. Los Ticos took an early lead as Marco
Urena scored his first of two goals on the day in the seventh minute of the Group A match.
Manchester United forward Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez scored a second half hat trick to lead
Mexico to a 5-0 win over El Salvador in the CONCACAF Gold Cup tournament on Sunday evening. El
Salvador was was lucky to keep Mexico off the scoresheet in their Group A match until the 54th
minute when Efrain Juarez scored.

Diego.
Mexico plays Bosnia-Herzegovina on Feb. 9 in Atlanta and Paraguay on March 26 in Oakland.
All three are FIFA fixture dates, making it possible for the teams to bring in top players from
