The team continues to undergo it's offseason makeover. Leo Krupnik, formerly of
Maccabi Haifa, has just signed on with Maccabi Netanya for an undisclosed sum. He appeared in only
three games, starting in two.
If you are keeping score at home, that is now 9 players that started 2009 with the Bulls, who
now find themselves elsewhere.

Big Apple Soccer, home of everything New York Soccer, reports speaking to "El Professor"
Juan Carlos Osorio about his move to Once Caldas. His reply?
"The offer is a very good offer," he said. "The club is a very good club. I am considering the
offer. However, I would like to stay in the United States.

If you were betting on Once Caldas of the Colombian Mustang division to be the first suckers to
hire the preeminent Professor of the 4-5-1, grab yourself a boobie prize kid.
Juan Carlos Osorio is a head coach once more. He takes on a squad that is
currently 8th in their table, with 7 wins, 7 draws and 4 ties, accumulating 23 goals for and 14
against in that time frame.

I, too, am removing my name from consideration for DC United's head coaching position.
Bill has his own take on the nominees. That reminds me, I need to fill out my MLS awards
ballot.
Quote: Voting will close on Monday, October 26 at Noon ET. Oops.
Well, the good news is, you won't be able to blame me for any of this year's winners.

DC United has announced today that they will not be offering Tom Soehn a contract extension. The
team was told this morning that Soehn was out and the search for a new manager would start.
"Tommy has done an outstanding job at D.C. United, first as an assistant and then as our head
coach," said United President and CEO Kevin Payne.

Not much was good in 2009 for the New York Red Bulls. Fresh off a trip to the MLS Cup in 2008
many thought this could be a break out season for the club. Instead the season got started with a
bang in a bad way by losing to an expansion club on opening day 3-0 in Seattle.

For the last two weeks we have seen RBNY basically pick up the pieces and strung together some
decent results for themselves without the services of Juan Pablo Angel who had been nursing a sore
ankle he picked up at training before this three match road trip began. While it's been a while ago
that Juan Carlos Osorio has resigned from the club, it looks to be that the players are responding
to the tactics of Richie Williams and has brought back that never die attitude that was so lacking
from the start of the season up to the home match against FC Dallas in mid-August.

Could Richie Williams be the answer for the Red Bulls? He has a 6-4-2 record as the interm head
coach, and as Kristian Dyer reports, Williams is certainly making a case for himself.
Too bad the Red Bulls probably will deem it fitting to bring in a "name" European coach to take
over the team next season. Click to continue reading...
In the wake of the Fire blowing points at home again this weekend, assessing Denis Hamlet is a
timely subject. The 2-2 draw at Toyota Park with the Crew, gives Columbus the inside track on
winning its second consecutive Supporters Shield and the Eastern Conference.
Denis Hamlet was always a second choice hire.

The New York Red Bulls and Kansas City Wizards are out of the playoff race, but players for both
teams are still battling for the professional futures as they look to impress in this Eastern
Conference tilt at Giants Stadium tonight.
The Red Bulls will try to win a third straight match since Richie Williams took over as interim
head coach for Juan Carlos Osorio, while fellow New Jersey native Peter Vermes tries to win his
second straight as interim head coach of the Wizards, who he took over for Curt Onalfo.

The Wizards finish their 3 games in 8 days East Coast road trip tomorrow in New York where they
take on the Red Bulls. Over the course of this season, the Red Bulls have been the worst team in
the league, for a long time flirting with being the worst ever. Since Juan Carlos Osorio resigned
though, the Red Bulls are 2-0 under Richie Williams (aka ABMOD).

The Wizards are traveling to New York on Saturday to close out their one week/3 game road trip
that has had split results. One nice win against the Revolution where they broke out of the scoring
funk, followed by a game where they were held scoreless by DC United.
The Red Bulls are on a 2 game winning streak and playing pretty well after the departure of
Coach Juan Carlos Osorio.

Mike Petke gives us an inside look on the day of Juan Carlos Osorio's resignation on his new
blog entry this week. What is clearly learned is that Richie Williams is inspiring the team to
rally through the end of the season. And what seems to be implied is that Osorio just couldn't.
Here is an excerpt of the entry:

race. Here's a recap of this weekend's matches along with video highlights.

The big news of the weekend was the resignation of Red Bulls head coach Juan Carlos Osorio, who
apologized for the dreadful season.
So what did New York do in its next game? Win, of course, courtesy of Juan Pablo Angel.
This league is crazy. Not a good couple games for the Sounders FC, which is now fighting for its
playoff life.

Nine months is all it took for the New York Red Bulls to go from the peak of MLS to the lowest
depths the league has ever seen. The steep fall from MLS Cup finalist to a club threatening to be
the worst in MLS history was sure to cause a few career casualties, and the first was head coach
Juan Carlos Osorio, who resigned on Friday.

It seems that whenever a team does poorly they just fire the coach. Well I guess they have to
blame somebody. It's no surprise that the New York Red Bulls were the worst team in the MLS this
season holding a 2-16-4 score.
Juan Carlos Osorio - N.Y. Red Bulls
I suppose that the blame could could have been pointed at anyone of the players but the
scapegoat turned out to be the head coach, Juan Carlos Osorio.

It's been a long time coming, really. Juan Carlos Osorio has resigned from as the head coach of the
New York Red Bulls. After leading the Red Bulls to the MLS Cup Final last season - after a mediocre
regular season, mind you - Osorio has led New York to an embarrassing 2-16-4 so far this
season.
The 2009 Red Bulls are on pace for record-setting season of MLS futility, something you wouldn't
expect from a team with arguably the league's best striker in Juan Pablo Angel.

First of all let's start with the end of everyone's favorite saga - Juan Carlos Osorio has finally

worst record in league history.
