It feels a bit like Groundhog day at the moment and it's not because I'm stuck in the Insurance industry from 9 til 5 during the week. It is however because Stevenage have begun this season in a very similar fashion to last year's campaign. A draw at home was followed by a narrow defeat in the Carling Cup first round to Championship opposition.

Sir Alex Ferguson was named 2011 LMA manager of the year after guiding Manchester United to their 19th League title, their 12th under Fergie, the Scot was also given a special merit award having broken the 2,000 game barrier in charge at Old Trafford.


Another Scot, Paul Lambert picked up the Championship accolade after guiding Norwich to second place
behind Q.

Over the fortnight Sheffield Wednesday supporters should be feeling relieved and maybe still a touch groggy from imbibing a few drinks for the dink. A week after the Cup heroics against Newcastle, it's back to the bread and butter of the league. A visit to table toppers Chesterfield and their brand new B2Net Stadium awaits Graham Westley's side. The Spirietes currently top League 2 and are beginning to pull away from the teams around them. They are currently four points clear of 2nd placed Rotherham, while Wycombe are a point further back, although they have played a game more.
