Surely he's embarrass of his own performance too
It was a good night for Arsenal last night, even though none of the games involved us.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City all dropped points in their Boxing Day fixtures. A win for
us tonight will see us leapfrog over Chelsea and go level on points with Tottenham (depending on
the outcomes of their own match against Norwich).

I've received an early Christmas present.
Much to my wife's delight, our kitchen calendar next year will be the Official Wolverhampton
Wanderers FC Calendar for 2012.
I don't know what it's like in your house, but in ours, the kitchen calendar is the source of all
knowledge: if it's not in the calendar, then it's not happening.
LFC v Wolves: Carroll, Adam, Downing and Henderson return
Kenny Dalglish has gone back to by and large the same team that lost last weekend to Spurs for
today's home game against Wolves. Daniel Agger's rib injury means he's out for several weeks and so
Kenny has moved Skrtel into the centre of defence (a position he's far better at than right-back)
bringing Martin Kelly in at full-back.
Gerrard Looking To Return
Liverpool Skipper Steven Gerrard could make his Premier League return and would like to mark his
return with a victory against Wolves, also Kenny Dalglish's side would like to bounce back from two
consecutive defeats in the league. The Reds gained some confidence with a win against Brighton in
the Carling Cup on Wednesday, with two goals from Bellamy and Kuyt.
Liverpool look to tomorrow's match with an eye to getting back on track in league after losing
two straight, but can take a few positives from the League Cup win over Brighton on Wednesday.
Similar story for Wolves, who've also lost two straight after starting the season with two
consecutive wins.
Here is the list of players released by Premier League clubs this summer.
From Fulham: Zoltan Gera, Edward Johnson, Diomansy Kamara, John Pantsil, Matthew Saunders
Other interesting names:
Arsenal have released Thomas Cruise
Villa have released Nigel Reo-Coker could be an interesting signing
Birmingham have released Mitchell McPike
And Maik Taylor, for that matter
Blackpool have released half their squad, for obvious reasons
Manchester United have released Owen Hargreaves, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Edwin van der Sar.
The relegation battle took another turn today as both Bolton and Wolves got impressive wins.
Wolves went to the Stadium of Light and beat Sunderland 3-1, a win that lifts them into 16th
place, on 40 points.
Sunderland, who were playing without a recognised striker on the pitch, fell behind when former
Sunderland player Jody Craddock volleyed home Stephen Hunt's deep cross eluded.
Two to go and Wolves are traveling up north to play our manager Mick McCarthy's old team. Probably
a special moment for him and for Jody Craddock our veteran central defender who has played at the
Stadium Of Light for five seasons. Both teams are on the up at the moment, following victories
