Barcelona have confirmed that Thierry Henry will be free to leave the club this
summer, after agreeing a compromised deal to pay up the remaining year of the French striker's
contract at the club.
In what has been a tumultuous past couple of months for French superstar Thierry Henry, it
appears as if the striker is set to leave Barcelona. Recent news has leaked out from the Camp Nou
that both the player and the club have settled on terms for Henry to leave the reigning La Liga
champions.
With Manchester City already keen on signing Yaya Toure from Barcelona and with Toure already
stating his desire in leaving Barcelona due to the lack of playing time received at Camp Nou, it
now seems that Manchester City are just a few steps away from signing the midfielder as they look
to put the finishing touches on the deal.
Barcelona are hoping to wrap up the signing of Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas during the World
Cup according to Barcelona's corporate director general Joan Oliver
"Cesc has arrived in South Africa to play the World Cup, but there are a lot of football people
there. (Arsenal coach Arsene) Wenger will be there and there will also be representatives of Barca
(there).

of Valencia winger David Silva. The statement confirms that, "The player's advisers and officials
from both clubs have finalised the details over a four-year contract, which will bring the
24-year-old to City of Manchester Stadium.
