This week's guest on the Jared Montz Soccer Podcast is Perry Kitchen. Perry was a 2011 top
draft pick for D.C. United and he recently won a collegiate National Championship with the
University of Akron. Perry is a 19 year old Generation Adidas player, U-20 USMNT player and is
one of the rookies most expected to have a great rookie season.

I am so sorry to say this but there will be no Jared Montz Soccer Podcast this week. I have
been battling the Flu since Tuesday January 18 and today is the first day I am sort of feeling back
to my normal self. You may have noticed my lack of blog posting, social media posting, etc and
that is all been because of the Flu.

This week's guest on the Jared Montz Soccer Podcast is Brian Lee. Brian is the Head Coach of
LSU's women's soccer team. To clarify LSU is Louisiana State University. He is currently is his
6th season with the Lady Tigers taking them from a last placed SEC (South Eastern Conference) team
to a three time SEC West Championship the past three seasons and he has established the Tigers as a
force to be reckoned with in NCAA D1 soccer.

This is a test Jared Montz Soccer Podcast episode. Last week I started using a new podcast
provider called Libsyn. They seem to be great so far but like anything in the Tech world a simple
change is never a simple change. I recorded the test podcast this past Friday, managed to get in
iTunes Monday and today I am finally able to get it on the blog.

on planet earth and don't know who Landon Donovan is he plays for the LA Galaxy and the US Men's
National Team. He is a regular MLS All-Star, a leader for the National Team and played on loan to
Everton in the English Premier League this past winter and proved to everyone he is a world class
player.

is a former U-17 USMNT player, MLSer, USL Second Division MVP and is currently having a great
season with the Aztex's in the USSF D2 League.

very talented center midfielder in his 6th year in MLS and a current MLS All-Star for the Colorado
Rapids.
On the podcast we talked about his MLS All-Star appearance against Manchester United, his recent
goal against Philly, the Rapids playoff chances, his thoughts on Davy Armstrong and Omar Cummings,
took some user submitted questions and then previewed their upcoming game against the Columbus
Crew.

Adviser from New Zealand and was one of the few non full time professionals selected to the All
Whites for this year's World Cup in South Africa. Playing for the New Zealand National Team he
made his World Cup appearance against Italy in their massive 1-1 draw.

You might be asking yourself, "Where in the world has the Jared Montz Soccer Podcast been?".
Since mid May I haven't done a podcast for a few reasons. The first was the World Cup starting
and all the soccer attention was turning there. Presently I don't think I have the pull to land
interviews with the top World Cup stars, but one day I will!

As you may have seen in an earlier blog post I am not able to do a Jared Montz Soccer Podcast
this week because all of my research/interview time has been allocated towards prepping for the LSU
vs Auburn game I will be color commentating on Cox Sunday.
So I figured this would be a good time to pull out an interview from the past.
