Rio to Spurs
With Rio Ferdinand suffering from poor form and repeated injuries, the papers have pencilled Harry
Redknapp in for trying to sign our defender in the summer. Rio seems to be gravitating towards the
London lifestyle again and next summer United might be looking to get back some of the £30m they
paid out for him eight years previously.

When I heard the news that Adebayor might be going to Manchester City (and thus become tenuously

It wasn't the fact that we lost to Arsenal and Manchester United it was the fact that we lost
without showing any sort of fight or passion for the game. I can fully understand and even expect
to be completely outclassed against two sides competing for the ultimate glory of the Champions
League, what I cannot accept is that not one player seemed to care that we are going down without a
fight, not one player showed any sort of urgency to try to rescue something.

Middlesbrough's Jérémie Aliadière, the man with the last name that takes me 73 tries to
pronounce correctly, had his red card appeal denied today on the grounds of its "frivolous" nature
and his ban increased from three to four games.
This is one of the biggest farces I've seen all season.
