IT WAS bound to happen sooner or later. North Queensland Fury, with the wily Robbie Fowler, were
always going to get a win at home after weeks of impressive fighting football.
But without taking anything away from the Fury, Perth Glory will feel that they let a golden chance
for a win away from home went begging.

Round 4 of the Hyundai A-League wrapped up yesterday, with the round producing some mixed and
surprising results.

10,733 people braved the rain, and the majority watched in horror as North Queensland went ahead
first after Robbie Fowler timed a run perfectly to score off a James Robinson wonder-cross, to the
delight of the captain.

Robbie Fowler got off the mark on his A-League debut last weekend, although his North Queensland
Fury fell to a 3-2 home defeat against Sydney FC. Fowler, formerly of Liverpool and made club
captain, converted a penalty after an hour to level the scores at 2-2. However, former Portsmouth
